I doubt it, considering Napoleon left France as a burning mess which had been humiliated and occupied by foreign powers, with millions of French children being sent to die in wars which ultimately brought nothing but destruction and ruin to France. @@mr_bridou6507 from the death of Charlemagne in 814 up to the split of the Frankish Empire in 840 his empire was indeed very peaceful, certainly by medieval European standards. There were a few rebellions and civil conflicts, but in general it was the most peaceful and prosperous state in Europe when Charlemagne died, compared to Napoleon who left France defeated, occupied and ruined.
