Nicely done, the part with the traffic in the background and using the NR filter showed how badly it degraded the sound quality. Obviously in that scenario a lavalier mic would be a way better choice. I just got this mic today to throw in my bag as something small and easy to give me better than onboard audio.
I think it depends on the compability of Sony's digital hotshoe. If your camera is not mentioned in the list it wouldn't be compatible at all 🤷♂️ I can not use mine on the ZV-1 in any way 😐 but check the list on Sony website
@@christianeggbauer it says that is compatible with the analog setting, would it be worth it? I mean, does it is change much the quality of the sound if I use it in analog instead of digital? Or should I look for other options?
@@MightyThor10 thanks for the info, hmm i can test it on the weekend and make a comparison Digital vs analog on the Sony a7iv and upload a mp3 if you want, and btw the rode Sound you hear is via 3.5mm mic Jack, i assume that when you use it for a youtube video it doesn't matter

Probably a bit too late for you @MightyThor10 but if anybody else is reading I used this mic with A73 on analog setting without problems.
