Thanks for all of the great videos ~Curious how much the trailer naturally compresses with the weight of the tiny home on it if at all. I'm wondering if I have the freedom to go over my max height by 1" for part of a skylight curb and can rely on the fact that the weight of the tiny home on the trailer will compress the leaf springs by that amount. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.
You make great videos! Thanks for the great advice. Our trailer will be arriving in the next week and have got great tips from all your videos. Many thanks for the high quality content. Question: Where did you get the concrete pier block from?
I loved your video and am excited to check out more! We are ready to block and level our trailer to start our build. We don't plan to move it but want to be able to in case. We were planning to mix 3/4 inch loose stone with crushed gravel that has rock dust for 4-5" pads, then stack 16x8 concrete blocks (two together with the seams alternating as we stack up) and shim with wood. I have not seen anyone doing it this way and want to make sure it will be safe. We are in New England with lots of rocks in the ground so it is difficult to scrape down and level. The other option is just 1-3" of the crushed stone with rock dust leveled out on the ground. Would that be better? Thanks! Taica Patience
