This is my first sponsored video! I am growing really fast. I made my first TikTok post in late July 2023.
This video explains the diagram I made, what it's for, how it works, and how to read it, as well as each level, how it works, and how to see it in yourself in the world. It's my personal interpretation of a model of consciousness that I studied, but it's re-written to make it more understandable to a big audience.
DIAGRAM HERE: (bottom link)
linktr.ee/hoemath
I use this diagram to show how people think and where some of the crazy thoughts in our society come from. It's having a big effect! Lots of people are figuring things out, and that's satisfying to me, especially when someone who's been spending a lot of time at level 6 realizes "oh NO! I've been letting people at level 3 get away with a LOT!"
I hope you enjoy the explanation and the little bits of gentle humor peppered throughout. More relationship content coming soon!

Love the graphics. Handwriting also very interesting, almost like a font of regular guy script. Maybe you know them already but in manufacturing we use the 5 Why's to get at root cause. It's a lot like you description of thinking things through at the end of the video. I don't think that people 10,000 years ago were less intelligent than people today. I hope that you were using tribes/Romans/Medieval describing the lower levels as analogy only; Aristotle et al.

I'm almost 30. I've been at a new job for about a month now. Yesterday, for casual Friday, I wore a normal tshirt. My boss called me over and politely talked to me, saying I need to wear collared shirts. Keep the casual professional. He was very nice about it. And I felt anxiety for 30 mins because I had done something wrong. I grew up with unforgiving parents and deal with this kind of stuff internally, but I'm getting better at it recently. Anyways. I wanted to just go home and change so I didn't feel bad anymore. I thought about how my boss might have been stressed because maybe HIS boss mentioned it to me and he felt like HE did something wrong. And I caused all of that stress. I didn't like that. But. I realized I was being ridiculous. I told myself it's just a shirt and I'll fix it next time. And I was able to do that because I have become able to see how I emotionally respond to things and why I respond that way. I've been changing a lot of things recently since moving past some unhealthy attachments and I've been able to do so because I can see how and why I react the way I do. I think about why I do it and if what I'm so worried about is actually something to worry about. Most of the time it isn't. I feel like this self awareness puts me most of the time at a 8.

I don't feel as alone now and the thought that somewhere out there someone else felt what I felt watching this makes me happy. An elevated consciousness means nothing if you forget the basics. Thank you for your video.
@2terra259

I understand how you feel, as time has progressed and we become more self aware we realize the way we think, and notice our separation from others. I don't like proclaiming intelligence on any level but I know that as we increase the depth of the thought we can generate and understand, we tend to solve, live, think, feel and separate from others. This is isolating as the fact we can be viewed by other humans for having a different thought be seen as immoral and labeled as a bad person, very isolating. But it takes time to realize that sometimes the best thing to do is to fit in. Which is probably why higher levels are not intrinsically better. I found that the best way to cultivate this idea and expand volume of consciousness is to connect with other people of similar depth. Just always keep in mind, we aren't better that anyone else, and no one holds superiority, as to err is to be human. so always keep an open mind. Good luck on your journey, friend.

I have discovered that the key is learning to "tune in" to the different consciousness levels being expressed or utilized by the individual or group, as well as being consciously aware enough about the advantages(or lack thereof) of discerning whether it is an optimal action for you(myself) to interact with them or not. To practice, you have to engage with almost all the variations of consciousness levels expressed by different beings at their own levels, however once you get the hang of it(or at least when it seems obvious for you to) you choose to associate with those that will optimize your life as well as the lives you too can optimize as well(some are more receptive than others to "change" lol). Like a string(or in groups, strings) on a guitar, you must learn to understand and be able to recognize the tension(or lack thereof) of each consciousness level, learn to adjust your own to each variation for maximum harmony, and generate the unique symphony of experience we all love called Human Being, filled with both Joy and Suffering, and so much more. Eventually, you will be so adept at it and the community at large will be so attuned to it that you yourself can be one of the main "Strings" that help to tune all the other strings in order to optimize the world and the future of humanity. At least, that's my theory or wish. Regardless, good luck to all who read this, and may God bless you and your loved ones.

My gf and a friend have talked abt this and we like to actually analyze ppl. It starts with expression, then substance, then reasoning behind substance, and then mindset. Expression is what someone shows directly. Their clothes, how they say stuff, anything that just on a superficial level u can describe or categorize them as. Then comes substance. What r they actually saying. It’s like you can say “yes” in a excited way or a hesitant way and it would convey different meanings. Then comes substance behind reasoning. A great example is your brain drawing. Everything u just said about why a girl doesn’t like you (sorry) is reasoning behind substance. Then comes mindset. Which is way harder to explain, but it’s the true origin behind everything you do. It’s kind of like your 7th degree of conscious. Like you see how all of their experiences culminate and you describe exactly why ppl do things. You can never describe someone’s mindset in a single word or phrase, but rather it is the culmination of everything as a person. If you can understand mindset you can understand the entire person as a whole. Anyways what I’ve been wanting to say is that I think you’re 9th level is unfinished. The 8th level is the recognition of the culmination of everything, but then 9th level is not only being able to understand your own culmination of everything, but someone else’s and truely experiencing what they have gone through. See you just desciebed a pattern of conscious and the pattern keeps on going as you go higher and higher and the 9th level is no exception. What you just described is the ability to analyze someone as a whole. The second level is the ability to understand someone else’s expression and then so on and so on (sorry i forgot what each level, but I hope u get the idea). Anyways the 9th level is the ability to understand the person as a whole, but then there is a 10th thing that i feel like is there but I wouldn’t nessecarily call it a level of conscious just more like a realization. You realize that all the information u perceive no matter how object, is finite. You can never truely define everyhting. There is no absolute in anything other than yourself. I believe this is where the cycle comes to a circle. You then come back to the level 1 of consious and build. Keep in mind it is not a cycle but more like the end of a circle. After realizing everything you possibly can, you just go from there. I know what I’ve just described might not seem real to some people and even to others as superficial. But truly know what i’m talking about you need to experience it.

I don't usually respond to comments but I found this interesting. I would agree with your 'level 10' sort of idea, not as a state of consciousness but a rule of life. But i wouldn't agree with your level 9 in the context of the video. The first reason being, as you said all information is finite which means therefore it can be lost or withheld by individuals. Which would mean for the reality of your level 9 to exist ("but someone else’s and truly experiencing what they have gone through") be impossible. This would kind of have to make me delve into 2 sub reasons as to why but i think this stems from misinterpretation of the video. I don't think hoe math's level 9 was to experience and understand the culmination of *someone else's* experience and existence but instead was the ability to like he said, "knowing where to watch those things"- in context to level 8. Level 8 being the ability to understand the culmination of YOUR experience in real time, to understand the understanding and observe the observing of the culmination. What I drew from the video, the idea of level 9 is the level of thought required to understand which area's to focus on, once again "the *responsibility* for *knowing*-( which in context is the parent to level 8 as a value), *where*-(in reference to being able to understand a higher level of where observing observation is required and necessary, and to understand its role and value in your own observation) to watch those things" that was my interpretation, I look forward to a response. Do correct any of my mistakes from your argument.

It's crazy for someone else to explain so neatly something you have been trying for your whole life to understand. I like that you stated that higher levels of thought doesn't exactly mean they are better, I've struggled with anxiety my whole life and I definitely get trapped in loops of overthinking and decision paralysis. I have learned in my adult years that sometimes its okay to chill at the lower levels and just be yourself. But I think if everyone had even just one breakthrough moment where they thought at higher levels, we would have a much better understanding of our world and how to live happily with one another.
@KennethTope
@KennethTope 6 месяцев назад
decision paralysis =/= higher levels. same for overthinking. you can overthink from the same single perspective, and have decision paralysis from one frame of view, while neglecting other frames of view. you can also 'chill' at higher levels, especially if it's bringing you answers to questions that could not be answered at lower levels, and allowing you to be more productive than you would have been otherwise, and therefore content with your improvement. there are many examples of this. I think anxiety is more of a nervous system problem and can happen at any level, low or high.

Right and best is situational… that’s what you realize at second tier…and as you climb higher you still retain access to the lower levels. In fact not having them as a solid foundation can make you dysfunctional even when you are at higher levels of awareness. Which is why it is important to understand the impact of trauma in undermine that foundation. The climb is important because you become more versatile and less reactive to other people. You see people less in terms of good and bad and more in terms of different degrees of being awake. The less awake they are the more people and things they bump into.

One of the main themes of my favourite series of novels is the price of knowledge. Due to circumstances throughout my life and an inborn proclivity for logical thought and self reflection, I reached level 8 fairly consistently at a fairly young age and sometimes even tap into level 9 nowadays at 20. Those novels made me cry because I thoroughly understand myself, how my mind works, how I interact with others, what they see in me, what I want from them, the circumstances which lead to my largest changes in mindset throughout my life, you get it. The main character in these novels gains a broader and broader perspective as the story progresses and though I would not give up my ability to observe and understand, and constantly improve my ability to observe and understand for anything, seeing how that can lead to a sense of predictability and inevitability when it comes to my own choices and the choices of others almost put a grey filter on my life for a long period. I felt that I was playing a role that I had determined myself because it's who I am, and who I decide to be, but opportunities for exciting development and evolution of myself, being able to build myself up again better than I was before, became more and more rare because there was less and less need the more I evolved. I'm not saying I perfected myself, but I am saying that I found less and less which challenged my perspective and forced change, and that left me really bored to be honest. I also found less people who could relate to my sense of perspective over time, and that caused certain disconnects. Now though, I can happily say that I was just not busy enough. Too much thinking about thinking and not enough doing stuff to occupy my full focus. Getting hyperfixated on hobbies and work helped too, and I found a few really amazing friends who I can just be around. Hoe math, I do so enjoy your content and I'm considering subbing to your patreon to have an actual chat with you.

"I am not the main character, I am just the spotlight [...] If we want a better world and a better life, we have to learn where and how to shine that light." That was a great way of expressing the 'point' of a lot of meditative practices and eastern mysticism dealing with level 9 stuff.

Your dead on the money, meditation is definitely key. Meditation helps your mind expand but not just meditation alone, your mind has to be willing to expand and you cannot expand if you do not make room for more ideas to enter your mind unbound by biases. The more you can open your mind and be less judgmental the more room for expansion. Nuance is key for true growth, when you press in to learn more and understand more both light, dark and everything in between the universe unfolds everything in front of you. It's like staring into the abyss, the abyss stares back into you. Likewise the universe, don't stop, keep pushing. Leave not one stone left overturned and life as you know it will look like a matrix. More layers will peel back and just observe, lvl 9 is where it's at but only if you can handle it. You have to open your own mind to expand that far, it's a matter of one's own will to make a way. Will you tell yourself you know enough or will you open up to be once more surprised that this universe is in communion with you.

A lot of "esoteric" or "occult" stuff from early ages are legitimate things. A lot of Eastern practices like meditation have actual positive brain effects, and magick in Europe prior to Christianity, half of it was just proto-psychology rituals for self-development and discipline.

Meditation and mindfulness is definitely a level 6 practice, 100%. Level 7/8 is observing the results of, and influencing the direction of that mindfulnes, as well as accepting multiple lifestyles and cultures while also believing they exist better separate than they do together. Level 6 would put everyone together. Yuri Bezmenov detailed how meditation/mindfulness was specifically capitalized on by the KGB as a cultural weapon against Americans in order to specifically create the problematic cultures that were directly brought up by hoe_math as a result of 6 thinking. Level 7 thinking is the worldview supported by modern Russia now instead.

I’m autistic with ADHD and I’m usuallly on a level 8, if not, level 7. when I get high however, I get wired into level 9 and gradually to go back to level 7-8 once sober. At times level 9 thinking can last for days. Honestly I believe that this is the cause of hyper awareness of masking, sensory processing, and emotional intelligence. As hoe math said, sometimes higher isn’t better, with all that self awareness comes daunting self responsibility and forced self reflection

i spend most of my time between level 8 and 9 and i have to say it is incredibly exhausting. Every 6 months or so i get a completely different results on my personality tests and it feels like i'm a completely different person and cant recognize myself, sometimes i read text from only 2 years ago and im completely baffled with what i wrote and come to the realization that it literally was a different person as i have change over time due to my subjective experiences and im observing the fact that i observed that. And it makes me realize that i truly have that unlimited possibilities on who i could become and who i am. Its like so to me everything is completely subjective including my own mind and the way i observe my mind is also subjective. "I think therefore i am" feels like it doesnt apply me. Because how can i be sure that that is the case, what about the me that thought 2 years ago, that me was a completely different me, its not the me as i know me today and its definitely not the me that i will be in the future, is the me of today even the me of the future, am I truly even me or even real? I never saw a metacognitive breakdown of this before, but this is a banger video. On level 8 there's probably the perception of the passage of time, which changes depending on the scale you're operating at (like flow state.) Many people treat that as accidental and are peripherally of aspects of it, but consciously entering it is on an even higher since it deals with our attention and relationship with time. Being aware of the threshold of consciousness and what lies outside of it, and actively modifying those boundaries to serve us better might be around that level as well. There's so many levels beyond and I hope to keep noticing them now

Hmm. That is quite the relief to be honest. I tried several times to explain how it feels to see myself from "up above" as I called it. People were often skeptical or simply say I'm intellectualizing everything and I should go out more often. But I'm following the misty tracks of understanding. To watch things unfold, recognize where the decisions come from, the process of both coming to them, justifying them, and perpetuating them. I long for discussions allowing to see beyond, I've had them with rare friends. And it takes time to get there too. I feel a little better knowing these words, having something a little more tangible. Thank you!
@harrisonmccartney4878
@harrisonmccartney4878 4 дня назад
Might I suggest that level 9 be a level of awareness about one's life purpose and place in the grand mosaic of life and history? It makes the most sense I think. At level 8 you're capable of making present decisions that reflect an awareness of prior experience, and in more complex circumstances you're able to understand and learn from the mistakes of others so that you can avoid making those same mistakes yourself. You have full awareness of how the actions of today will influence tomorrow over a substantial period of time, and because you're aware of this you can make long term plans for your own personal life's journey. Level 9 is full comprehension of your personal gifts and talents, an acceptance that you bring something completely unique and necessary to the world even if the world doesn't always reflect its gratitude, and that you have to act against all odds to achieve the goals that you set in life and be conscious of the legacy you wish to leave behind. The point of this level is to act within your own limited capacity to help make yourself the best person you can be, and in doing so be the kind of person the world needs, which is the best version of you. You operate on this level with personal values and convictions based on the premise that you are doing what's ultimately good for you, and in turn doing what's ultimately good for others. Actions aren't selfish or impulsive, they're carefully measured and deliberately executed within the context of long term consequences for yourself and others. It's a level of total self and universal awareness that facilitates a mastery of self-control, and only by controlling oneself can one control the full course of one's life.

Hey there, I'd highly recommend checking out Buddhism (This isn't some "you need jesus" crap, Buddhism is a method of living in this life). The 4 noble truths are literally about that, accepting that suffering is, that you can find the root cause of it, that you can stop it and then a "path" towards living without. Ripping apart your consciousness is exactly that. Also, HealthyGamer GG channel is an excellent start.

He says: "this isn't some you need Jesus crap" Then proceeds to offer a religion that you spend essentially forever trying to quit being reborn even though you have no soul or person. 🤦 All based on the teachings of a man who was just one of the many bodhisattva BUT *specifically* from the "Tuṣita" heaven, (buddhist cosmology is migrane inducing, cuz ya kno: "dukkha") who, depending on which opinion from which buddist "off-shoot"/sect (in other words no one knows, or EVER DID) decided to take the shape of a "white elephant to be reborn on Earth for the last time." 🤨 This white elephant, enlightened state buddha, from a specific heaven, for whatever reason, went into what I guess he chose to be his mother's womb (via her right side?) to be born, but was still a result of sex of his mom and dad(?). 🧐 All this to live a life in search of how to "detach" and "break the cycle" which he for some reason was the first one to "figure it out" giving us the "middle road" to achieve nirvana as a means to quit being born over and over again (be good or you might be born as a dung beetle) 😑 BUT.... No "Jesus crap" though... Obviously you can do whatever you want, you've been GIVEN the free will to do whatsoever you please. But don't try to reduce the real undeniable existence of Jesus Christ to "crap". Jesus Christ, who factually lived, that we have verifiable first hand witness accounts of, is backed by historical, archeological, and scientifical evidence...not to mention the literary miracle, the Bible, and it's never been exhausted details and explanations for human existence, creation, meaning, moral values, reason for suffering/evil, death, eternal life after... but yeah....Buddhism bro, no Jesus "crap", btw check out this dudes channel he's like super close to nirvana man." I say all that to say this: Believe it or not I got nothing but love for you and since I come from a Catholic upbringing which led me to hate church in the Bible only to eventually come to the realization that my preconceived notions and bias towards the Bible we're not fair and we're founded in my CONTINUED dislike (to say the least) of Roman Catholicism. once I put aside my preconceived motions biases opinions and simply just looked in to studying the historicity of the Bible alongside some personal spiritual self-reflection and prayer I came to what I believe to be the only logical conclusion and quite easy to come to with that, which is simply that the Bible is exactly what it claims to be. Jesus of Nazareth, Son of God (literally God in the flesh) came down here 2023 years ago (current year=how long since His bday, go backwards for anytime before [BC] lol, world changing event) to be murdered by His own creation, for you. God in the flesh, who made the entire universe, was sentenced to Capital punishment: death by Roman Crucifixion. Order was given by one "Pontius Pilot" who was the fifth governor of the Roman province of Judaea, serving under Emperor Tiberius. As a result, your Creator, suffered a horrific death, being tortured, spit on, mocked, beard ripped out, and the One who made the entire planet, hung bloody, entirely naked, disfigured, entrails showing; this He suffered while having the power to come down off the cross and wipe out all humanity at any point if He wanted to but no, instead we read in Luke 23:34 'Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do...' God in the flesh died for you. Because if you're honest with yourself you know that you are what the Bible would call a sinner. Because besides Jesus who lived a perfect sinless life (only way to be a perfect sacrifice on our behalf is to be perfect) so is EVERYONE ELSE who ever lived. And a perfect God cannot allow sin into a perfect place such as heaven because if He did, man would ruin all of outer space/heaven just like we are doing to Earth. And the judgement for sin, anything less than perfection, is death and eternity seperated from God in hell. But hell wasn't even made for you, Matthew 25:41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire PREPARED for the DEVIL and his ANGELS." And He died for all of His creation because He loves us: ‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‭-‬17‬ ‭KJV‬‬ [16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." So he took your place on the cross, died for your sins, took your sins down to hell when He went there for you and dropped them off, rose from the dead on the 3rd day according to the scriptures, and ascended back up to His rightful place in Heaven. All that just in the HOPES (because He isn't a slave owner He gave you free will) that you will accept His FREE GIFT (you don't earn it) so that you can be forgiven, clean by blood of the "Lamb". These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 1 John 5:13‭-‬14 KJV Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Romans 10: 9-10 ⁹ that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. ¹⁰ For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:13 ¹³For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Get saved brothers/sisters, God doesn't want you trying to worry about breaking The Reincarnation cycle trying to achieve Nirvana or get whatever prize whatever religion is offering you by your own works. No he wants you to know that you are going to heaven by simply trusting in Jesus Christ dying for your sins. He wants you to have peace, hope, purpose, meaning, a literal one on one personal relationship with you; and to spend eternity in Heaven with you there. We aren't guaranteed tomorrow, but we are guaranteed to die; don't put it off just simply trust Jesus Christ (cuz it's not crap, only reLIEgion is) and I hope to see yall topside after this short life on earth. Love. Life is Short Death is Sure Sin the Curse Christ the Cure

When level 7 was introduced, my mind was blown. I’ve been having a realization over the past few months that i’ve been improving a lot because i’ve spent a lot of time rethinking my actions throughout my life and what motivated them, how others felt, how those feeling would make me feel, how others would view me if they saw me behaved that way, understanding that different people have different views a lot variety of topics that might seem objective at first, accepting people just think differently and have very different views and goals. I started a new job which i drive an hour to and from so i have a lot of thinking time. I’ve thought about my life over and over. I also acknowledge i have a very different mind now then i did prior to college, my life goals feel more narrowed in and my maturity feels more engrained. I understand that comes with time and experiences, both of those turning me who i am today. Such a great video, i will be thinking about this all week Edit: I believe i’ve used level 8 and 9 a decent amount of times recently, for sure when i got close to graduating college, and when i started my new job. After i few times of realizing i was actually fixing bad habits using my mind to reinforce good thoughts and behaviors, i made a mental map of areas of my self i what to work on and broke those areas into bits of benefits and cons. Learning about yourself by examining yourself is one of the coolest things. I still have alot to work on but i can tell improvements have been made and it’s only the beginning

4:21 This is the same issue with 'therapy' and I bumped up against this problem just a few weeks ago. See, i have an issue with wiping off counters. There's just been this lifelong block with this one thing. I'll do dishes, scrub out the fridge and oven, wipe off the cabinet fronts, sweep the floor... then walk out of the room without wiping the counters off. I actually clean MORE in an effort to avoid wiping off the stupid counters. I hate myself for this problem. Why do I do it? Goes back to my childhood. Both training and resentments. I fully understand the why. I know where the complex evolved from and how it affected me. Last week I was talking to my husband and the topic was relevant so I said all that and we finished the conversation and it was done. But later it bugged me. I kept thinking, so now what? I know this is an issue. I know why I have the issue. I understand all the ins and outs and history and psychology of the issue. But I'm a freaking grandmother for the love of gawd. What the hell am I going to DO about it? There comes a point where the navel-gazing has to end. You've explored every crevasse here's no more lint to be found in the little hole. You just have to choose to grow up and actually change the behavior. So I shifted my feelings of resentment from my parent and from my childhood imprinting and made myself resent ME. I now resent that part of me that allowed this BS to carry on for so damn long. And my counters have never been so clean. See, I can't change the parent. I can't change the past. But I can change what I don't like about myself. I am the one factor in the universe that I have control over, so when I can shift my mindset to "I AM THE PROBLEM" now I have the power to fix it. It's always a sweet rush when that shift happens because I know I'm finally able to move forward. Us navel-gazers have to realize that insight isn't helpful unless we apply it. My husband is the least navel-gazing person on planet earth, but when he finds some aspect of himself, he just changes it. There is no navel-gazing. "I don't like that I've been drinking as much as I have. I will no longer drink." "I'm suffering because I go to bed too late. From now on, I have a bed time." And then he *actually does the thing... FOREVER.* He truly is a god among men and I respect him so much. The fact is, why doesn't matter. The only way to improve our lives to to practice radical, personal responsibility and just do the thing. It's a hell of a lot faster and more effective than the brain stuff. But I will admit, it's much less fun.

I don't think I've ever benefitted from level 6 - level 7 consciousness. It's like trying to solve for 2 + 2 with a quantum computer. It just overcomplicates things and it becomes mental gymnastics so I can procrastinate taking action.

My jaw was on the floor for most of this video, and not just your animations lol, but rather that I felt myself following along from my own life over the last few years. Recalling times of so-called 'shedding my skin' after low points in my life, saying like "oh yep, that was my exact observation level in high school, College, etc.". I always figured there was something out there like this but never 'on the head' as this. My stoic and amazing dad told me several times growing up that I just thought differently than my peers, and whenever I found myself frustrated about the inevitable alienation that I began to foster around myself, I realized that everyone around me really only thought for themselves and over trivial stuff no less. Growing up around people much older than myself, I managed to live through a depression of prolonged loneliness because I truly felt that somehow what I thought was intrinsically "correct" or "mature". As you said, "...higher does not always mean better." and that could not be more true, perception or wisdom or whatever 100% come at a price; whether sanity, happiness, connections, or anything else. In any regard, thank you for reading this post and a thin slice of my life, i continue to live humbly on the path of life that we all will continue to walk. 'Learning' too much too quickly can be a difficult, and often painful, hurtle to jump, but i encourage everyone to never quit and know when you are just spinning your wheels in life. Be patient, always take a step back whenever you find yourself lost to your emotion. Sorry for the rant, I rarely if ever comment on videos but this felt different, this is a great video with much to process. I hope everyone has a great life ahead!!!

I grew up during the 60s and 70s. Level 6 was going crazy then. Your evaluation is correct, just because a person has embarked on the journey of higher level thinking, doesn't mean it's better. Those in level 6 then, made the mistake of the cliché, throwing out the baby with the bathwater. They didn't take the time to evaluate why things were, and properly assess what would happen if it was changed, replaced, or just thrown out. They also forgot that ideas have consequences.

There are two parallels I noticed that are fascinating: 1) how these psychological/societal levels correspond to the explanation of the 10 physical dimensions. 2) how the ancient philosophy of Stoicism defaults at beginning the practitioner at Construct Awareness(Lvl8) and places it's goal making Lvl9 the default Lvl1 perspective, which could be said to be the goal of other philosophies/religious traditions(Buddhism for example), but it is the only such philosophical tradition I'm aware of that is fundamentally constructed to begin at such a high level of awareness instead of gradually achieving it. Like tell me one distinc thing about the "curled up" dimensions 5-10 and how they relate to anyhting on this list. the only similaritty is that there are 10 of them. It would be pretty cool if there was some fundemental connection between the structure of our universe and the structure of our consiousness but comparing two (flawed) models and then assuming some fundemental connection is non-scientific. First we would need to determine that this is a proper model of concousness for attacking the question. Also, the 6 curled up spatial dimenssions in string theory have never been measured or observed and string theory is only one group of theories that attempts to explain quantum gravuty. There are many others that don't involve extra dimensions

Buddism and Yoga have been offering people teachings about self-awareness, presence, and higher level thinking for thousands of years... while (in my view) traditional religion has given people external ritual induced presence experience without self-awareness, which is an easier road to being happier and more balanced (and usually but not always more kind).. Unfortunately, religion tends to also bring tribalism and balkanization and conflict, which is just about the opposite of Buddist ideals.

What we talk about as "feelings" or "emotions" I believe to be entangled perception states we (individually) don't yet know how to untangle. I am sitting next to a friend in a movie theatre watching an action movie. A surprising exciting moment happens.. My friend feels excited. I feel the hairs on my arms stand up because I suddenly feel the colder 70 degree theatre air against my 98.6 degree skin. I feel this, because my perception system has been shown something it didn't predict (and filter), so for a moment, it drops my true self into full perception of my entire body. This is not an "emotion" for me, but a moment of full perception, where I actually feel my arms. For a moment, I wonder why I can't always feel the skin on my arms. Then I appreciate the movie experience for bringing me to full presence for a moment. Then I wonder if I will ever be able to bring myself to full presence without the unpredictable external stimulus. My friend turns to me and asks, "wasn't that exciting?" I say "yes".

Thinking at level 8 only happens to me when very tired and somewhat stressed in a quite environment. And it's exhausting. You can't really exercise this high level thinking on your feet, takes to long to deeply analyse your thoughts just to answer the question "how are you". I tend to delegate some of the process as part of a conversation or with a paper if I need to deeply analyse something.

I think I've been at level 7 for a while, and about 4 months ago I started daily 10 minute meditation. Everyday I acknowledge my current self, my motivations, and who I'm around and how all this combines into an ego state within me. That's really been pushing me into seeing myself change across time, day to day but even moment to moment. I really relate to level 8. It sort of feels like I "banked" patience, like when something upsets me I already considered it, not directly but spiritually.

That’s crazy. Level 9 is really trippy and I don’t think it could be sustained for “living” and even in the example you gave at the end of your own thoughts of your drawings (which are amazing, thank you), it seemed that the awareness was processed in gaps of time and not a state of prolonged period of time. THANK YOU for explaining this, I was literally trying to find this. Please make more and I’ll practice to get into higher levels.
@hoe_math
@hoe_math 6 месяцев назад
Level 9 is actually really useful for peaceful interpersonal activity. The transparency that it creates of "gaps" in the emergence of conscious apprehension of reality helps you sort of... place something in front of people that makes them react, like "what the hell did you just say? why have I never thought of it that way?" and I BELIEVE (don't quote me) that this is why they call it the "ironist." Because you are "ironically" giving people the opposite of what they need to force them to solve their own problem from the inside and make them fill in that gap.

I really needed this video. My kids have recently left the house, and my identity has changed. (no longer their primary caregiver). I've been trying to figure out what my next move is, but have found I've just been thinking, and restructuring old things that don't work anymore. But I couldn't explain why I was thinking the way I was thinking, and it was driving me crazy, because I kept just reflecting on the amount of time and the process time has had on my perspective of things, as well as how some people are making the same choices and doing the same things, or other people are changing and evolving. I use to be firmly in the Pluralist category very strongly and for a very long period of time, I thought that was the top. But now my old answers or responses to things don't have the same impact they once held. For example I traced back my thought process back to the 1st instance of the first binge thought I had, I recently recognized it, thought about it, and constructed a plan to undue that thought (this was 3 years ago and my binge eating stopped immediately). over the last few years I've undone some of the negative food connections I had (secret binging, and other eds) at this level. so now to talk about your time army thing. I think I have always been able to access this, however, when I was a child I remember distinctly thinking thoughts of I can see how things come together based on the world as I knew it and how the people in the world all had their different points of views depending on what was happening to them, and if we could organize things in various ways, everyone's life would be better. However actual time gave me a different perspective, because If you listen to other people closely enough, you can hear them change their perspectives depending on what needs they need met at that moment, and some people completely forget these and swear they never did or said something (which is fascinating as a child to see your parent do this as a 6 year old, my observations are not limited to my parents though, they are just the example I used). I often thought and I wondered how that, will progress through time and how other people would evolve through time. I knew I didn't have enough information as a child to see the whole of time and how we got here, so I started studying groups of people and cultures to fill in the gaps I knew I had. So if I can add a suggestion to your time thought phase, there has to be enough information to draw proper conclusions, unless you are saying just having the thoughts alone about the constraints of time is sufficient to get you in this category (then I apologize for my misunderstanding and disregard the rest of this paragraph), because when you are too young to have all the information you can't actually properly see all the perspectives on a global scale, just on a localized scale and even then it is tremendously limiting. Every new culture I would hear about in school, meant I would need to learn as much about them as I could in order to fit them into the over arching view points. Lastly, at the level 9 level you should also add, the thoughts similar to my binging example above. what I've been experiencing is a complete evaluation of the entire societal structure, and understanding where I fit in and others fit in as well as the past thoughts I had, and how they impacted others, and how they were impacted by me. After this thought experience I developed a plan that saw a successful path towards my change and seeing a path to make my goals succeed in the most efficient way possible. Sure it required me having a conversation with everyone in my life, on their level (to best get my desired result, without hitting their negative triggering emotions). Once the evaluation was done, I had a plan built to undo about 30 years of EDs in 1 afternoon, and it stuck for 3 years, I have never had to experience the torment of my EDs. I do think level 9 is important because it can bring change, but not something we have to experience all the time, because it is time consuming to do it properly. Trust me I have tried to have these conversations before, from the “this is what I need to succeed,” and it works for a few weeks, then everyone goes back to old habits leaving me frustrated. I’m also wondering why you don’t talk about the driving force behind pushing people through the different levels of thought. It seems this is a vital missing piece in your explanation. For example, it is near impossible for a person to contemplate the needs of another person if they have to worry about meeting their own needs. Or it is impossible to reach the harmony phase, if you truly believe you are a cog stuck in a wheel and everything is against you.

What if goes both ways? Notice that ADHD avg % is about as high as avg % of higher levels. Either way I think ADHD is less about whether or not you think on these levels or not, but rather whether or not you're capable of switching between different levels with ease. Also maybe perhaps because ADHD results in more thinking, you are much more likely to think in higher levels. Remember that "disorder" just means you are different from an average human and you DO NOT HAVE TO apply an opinion on the diagnosis, after all it's just a summarized description of different qualities that humans might have, nothing more. In other words: Being diagnosed with ADHD does not mean that you have brain difference. It only means that you have the characteristics that a brain difference could cause. This means that the diagnosis might not be wrong, it's just that the diagnosis doesn't mean what you think it means, it's much simplier than that. Idk if I explained it right, kinda hard.

I have been tested for it multiple times because I exhibit some of the symptoms, but I have never been diagnosed and don’t think I ever will be unless I want to. That being said it’s more often that I’ve become tired of thinking about my thinking that I sit in a state of observation and constant attention to the nearest experience, feeling it in its entirety. It’s definitely not good on a long term or high level as it adds undue stress/develops thinking patterns similar to that of those with anxiety but at any point I can detach the emotion by taking a step up the rung from the video. That however ends up developing into symptoms of depression and other disorders and even dissociative disorders involved in the necessary dissociation from your current moment (paradoxically) to achieve a certain level of awareness of the current situation. It’s really quite tedious, complex, and boring as there are extremely few people to carry on a conversation with at that level. However! When you do find someone it’s amazing because there are these fundamental levels of predeveloped understanding and awareness and language gains a completely new context (I don’t study linguistics but I’ve always imagined that those who do and know linguistics may find this interesting as I once did) Language continually advances in preconceived context and the conversation seems to continue with endless insight until suddenly the realization that words in themselves are insufficient to continue into higher levels of thought as things continue to become further and deeper understanding of the “experience” being undergone. After that, you can conclude that there “is” and then at times there “is not” and that’s the best that English gets. I’ve always wanted to learn French because I know they’ve got some ways to describe pretty cool experiential/consciousness and emotional intelligence related stuff , but after doing that for a couple years I just started getting bored and realized I lost attachment with myself and was just watching myself live every day without feeling any of it. Even when I did “feel” emotions I was just a witness. I decided it was dumb and came back down to level 3-4 for a while occasionally slipping into 6-7 by force of habit and (get this one) awareness. After making enough of a fool of myself for some time I’ve decided it’s time to climb the rings again but a bit slower this time as to appreciate each environment and practice them within the “real world”. When most of this happened I was unfortunately quite young and even now I am just about to graduate college and get to finally do something… god it’s been a long time coming. I’m genuinely impressed with my patience considering where/when/how I started. Anyway, that’s my story. Hopefully I can do some cool stuff with other high level thinking individuals. I’ve always been an intense and thorough critical thinker and enjoy finding others who can vibe on the same levels. Peace✌️

My experience with immigration to a country with better education at a young age really accelerated me into level 5 without fully developing understanding/comfort in level 2-4. I’ve noticed that going through therapy has increased my awareness substantially. Because I struggle with CPTSD, it’s crucial for me to be at higher levels of thinking because without it, it would be incredibly challenging to remain functional without my triggers taking over my life. I use level 8 and 9 to rewire my behavioural patterns and patterns of thinking. I also find that being dissociated feels a lot like how you explained level 9, except I’m not aware of level 1. I think that things like meditation, therapy, and some esoteric ideologies encourage the use of higher levels of thinking and perception because it overall can give you a lot more control over who you are and why you act the way you do. Of course, there is no such thing as full control, but becoming aware of your behaviours and feelings and where they come from can be incredibly liberating. At least, that’s how it’s felt for me

Don't know if I would ever want to be in that 9th level all the time - I find comfort in that 7/8 range of daily functioning, because even that can be a lot to deal with daily. Also, interesting point about the dissociation. I've experienced derealization and would describe that as being at level 9, but all at the same time being suspended/at that point wondering if all the levels are even real or not 🤔 Would level 10 be a complete separation/disassociation from all the levels? That last thought process, the questioning about your drawings reminded me of CBT, except that you in your example didn’t conclude with asking yourself how you feel after using logic to think through the question. When you question your thinking, when you question the statements you tell yourself as you did, it can feel liberating and calming. It’s not ultimately exhausting because it’s freeing. The way out is through, you have to think through the problem with logic and evidence. When you question in depth, you may discover you’re making or made a false assumption originally. When you notice that you’ve been saying things to yourself that feel bad for no good reason, it can feel enlightening just to realize that through the questioning. It can be an epiphany, rewarding in itself.
