The level of analysis is the the perspective/dimension/priority set as primary for understanding the other dynamics of a situation, and the level part is a scale of relative complexity.
I have to ask this important question if IR is such a difficult concept to understand and possibly practice with some competence why is it that the US President or also Sec. Of State has no formal training in IR and make IR decisions that generally override those policies made by the State Department. A lot of IR decisions made by politicians are based on US interest, common sense and US ideology and NOT based on sound rational thinking behind the decision. Unlike other professions eg if you are not a structural or civil engineer you really NOT competent to design and construct bridges.
@@Count.Dracula46 It's ridiculous to suggest that everyone/anyone should do it for themselves when that work could be centralised much more efficiently. Someone has to be first of course, but that's typically part of a production process.
