Just a little diagram to show where the most beneficial pruning cuts should be made to maximize your efforts and cause the least amount of stress to the tree/limb.
I would have thought an arborist's measuring instrument would have been a rake, not a shovel, but either way its a great model. I AMY HAVE TO STEAL THAT ONE!
