Finally got to visit Lapland. Learned about it in world geography when I was about 12 years old and I though it would be super cool to go to. Didn't get to experience the whole "Home of Santa Clause" or see the Northern lights (again) and most of the mountain was closed but I had a blast and don't regret going early in the season. People are friendly too. Shout out to the guys at LIFT. Great music, good drinks and friendly environment to let loose.
I was only able to land the "Rock and Roll" grind with full pipe coverage twice. My back hit the bar on one and I fell on my arm another time. I still need to work on jumping onto the rail but I got to practice that a little with the pipes at the top. Was pretty cool that they had these ride on ramps to help me improve but I'd like to be jumping onto the rails soon.
