Just got my first Levi’s Ribcage jeans at the outlet! I bought them in a 26, but I think I wish I sized down to 25, especially if they loosen a bit with wear. I can’t complain too much though, I paid $35USD!

Hi Emily!! I am sooo pleased!! I do find that depending on the wash, sometimes they fit slightly more loose or more snug. I’ve recently got them in white and they’re loads more soft in texture and don’t fit as snug as the dark wash of blue … 🙏

Vilma Martins I bought the medium blue and they are made of 79% cotton 21%lyocel and are much softer than previous pairs. I usually size down thinking they will stretch out, it’s so hard to know. But so far I like the way these feel. I thought I’d mention madewell’s balloon jeans are awesome, I believe they are 100% cotton (I own the washed black pair) and they are substantial but soft too.

Also glad you mentioned that that a button fly is better when it comes to avoiding the tummy bulge compared to a zip fly coz I never really thought about it that way 🤷‍♀️ I always looked at a button fly closure as a pain to do up and down so avoided it 🙈 but I guess I’ll give it a try now! Who doesn’t want to avoid a tummy bulge situation ?!🙋‍♀️

Hi Johnnel - I hope you are having a blessed weekend too! Yes, Levi's has always been that BRAND but most flatering sizes are smaller. When I was at my biggest, mlnone of the female styles fitted me unless I would go plus size. I'm glad I waited this long to try them⚘

You look great mama! I was interested in these jeans before quarantine and you’ve inspired me to take another look. Levi’s are known for not having stretch so I’m surprised others were saying size down 🤔. I usually wear a 6/28 but I would probably need the 8/29 in these. They all look fab on you.

Thanks so much hun. Well, by looking at the fabric contents l, it actually says 99%cotton 1% elastane. And they fit just right. I cannot imagine these jeans not having any stretch...I would not be able to wear them. If you look at other videos...at least one of them shocked me for life...the Jeans were so tight on this person that it was hurting me just by watching the video lol

Love all three shades! I have a very similar body type and own a pair of Ribcage jeans but the rise is a bit too high. Another style I like is the 501 Crop (the name's deceiving - you can get them in 29-inch inseam) Love all your videos ❤️

I've had this for around 4 months now and I love love love it! Unfortunately its not a popular fit in my country so they weren't part of the regular line and its hard to get 😩 For the ribcage straight I'd suggest go true size. If you are interestsed in the ribcage wideleg (which v cute), I'd suggest go down a size. Love the vid!

Love them but the sizing is so inconsistent with them almost every pair I’ve tried on runs massive - the 24”s were more like a 27” - but occasionally a 24” fits a 23” 😂

Vilma, did you get size 29 in the darkest blue shade? I heard the darkest shade fits tighter than the light shades. Did you notice that.

Yes, I got 29w in all 3. I did feel the darker shade was more fitted but not by much. The mid wash is the one that feels more comfortable out of the 3 but theh are all comfortable if that makes sense.

I purchased some ribcage jeans thanks to your lovely vids!! They are awesome! However, one pair I noticed that the side seam is sewn with wider stitching. Such that when I'm wearing them, they sides almost look like they are pulling apart a tad (you can see the stitching a bit when I wear them). One ribcage jean pair has closer stitching and I didn't notice this. I can't help but wonder if the wider stitching and the pulling apart effect is normal? I also bought 501 shorts and they do the same. The ribcage has the 1% elastane and the 501 shorts have none but regardless both have wider stitching and it seems to be a looser stitch. I checked my Wedgie fit jeans and they have closer stitching and therefore you can't see the seam pulling apart. Please help? Thanks in advance!

I wear cheaky shorts. You can get them at H&M made of 100% cotton. Choose the regular waist. I also use Brazilian ones ❤️

hi! I am having the hardest time with finding the right fit. can you help me? my exact waist measurement is 25.5". according to the levi's size chart, this would put me at size 24. I have ribcages in size 24 and they fit nicely in butt and thighs. at the waist, they do not gap when I am standing up right. however, when I bend down, there is a huge waist gap. Is this normal? could it have to do with how high the rise is or should I size down to 23?

Hi ….. if you go down a size, they may be too uncomfortable to sit. I would try it out and see if it’s a better option but, many jeans gape at the back when I sit down and my ribcage do it a lil but, to me it sounds like your waist is smaller so maybe taking them in a lil May solve the problem rather then going down a size and making them so uncomfortable in the long run

@@florafades I do that sometimes 😅! To answer your question of wether they stretch….it depends on the wash that you have. However, having said that. I don’t think they stretch as such but they definitely mold to your body. I’ve done at least 2 or 3 videos on them and I as I have added 2 more washes I will be doing a 2 year update on the very soon…possibly in the next few weeks. I bought all of mine in the same size except for 1 pair which I got in a size 28w and soon after I regretted doing this as they were just too snug and I couldn’t sit down for long with them. So what I would say is, if the ones you have still have the tags, where them indoors for as long as possible to see if it stretches. Ps. Levi’s tend to go back to their original fit when you don’t use them. It’s like the cotton has memory and reverts back whilst resting 😂
