It all depends on how your specific body is shaped. Some people are longer waisted, which I think looks really good with higher waist pants. If your body is shorter waisted then lower would work better. I’ve heard some people say that the rib cage goes up to their ribs and that doesn’t look good. We’re all shaped differently. I agree the rib cage looks better on your body than the Wedgie. ❤️
thanks for this video. I own neither jean type yet so it is helpful to learn a bit more about their fit. For me, my body type needs a more tapered leg to be flattering, I have hips and a bigger bum, so based on your review I expect actually the wedgie to be more flattering on me. that said I have yet to try them!
Agree ...the ribcage are more flattering generally. The different washes in the comparison might skew the comparisons a bit though. You look great in both, by the way!

Could you show us a few looks with each pair of jean so we can understand how the silhouettes of each pair or pants can change a look, please? That way it’s easier to tell which to buy on the basis of what style you’re going for. The lower rise one looks like it might be more casual (not just because of color but because of rise).
Great video! Can you do one comparing the wedgie fit (aka wedgie icon) vs the 501 skinny fit? I know you did one comparing the 501 originals and the wedgie straight but I much prefer a skinnier leg :)

I have both and love both equally but the Ribcage run small, i bought 2 pairs, the flare and the straight leg. The Ribcage Straight is so small I hardly can breath😟
