"Boring" is a strategic choice against Levy. ...a5 "a little bit risky" was Levy finding ways to satisfy his need for some anxiety in his life. But, he got just the right amount of complexity and was great after that. Excellent game.
He added a Chrome extension that hides certain elements on a web page. Then he adjusted the settings on that extension so it hides that part of the screen, so he doesn't know who he is playing or their rating.

I think it's mostly a way for people to flex how early they got to a video? Like, it's almost always some ridiculously small amount of time, so it seems like mostly just another "first" variant with extra steps

Hah, when is an accent not offensive and when is it offensive? Levy can do Italian, German, and Russian, but Indian, Chinese, and black American would probably be a bit too edgy. :D
SMH. That wasn't very good sportsmanship at the end. I could see why people don't like playing against Gotham, lol. They don't want to be turned into a chess meme. If you can't react that way at a chess tournament, then I think it's disrespectful to say someone sucks and they are cheeks (ass I'm assuming) after the game here. No one wants to be immortalized in that way. Kinda loss some respect for this channel. I never seen you do that before, but maybe you do it all the time. Just not something I would expect from you based on some of the other vids I've seen.

And yeah, I think people care. If Gotham did similarly at OTB competitions and events, I don't think he would be allowed to compete or be invited anymore. There is chess etiquette, and I don't think he would be allowed to call people ass and say they suck after beating them. It's not good sportsmanship. I feel like Gotham is picking up (or I've just never noticed before) toxic traits. Like in a recent video, I went to the end to see if it was a pattern, and he said the game was pathetic. It just reminds me of why I hate FPS toxicity. People are like, play chess because it's fun and it's not a serious reflection of your IQ, and Gotham seems to be violating that spirit in this video. Just my thoughts. If you don't like it, just ignore it and move on.
