A good way to motivate yourself is to say out loud your choices. Would you rather be in the gym or watching TikTok (other social media etc.)? The social media serotonin only lasts for as long as you watch it. There's no work for your reward so this serotonin will feel empty. However working on your physical/mental health takes work and once you feel that serotonin from improvement it's hard to shake. Just try going to the gym, reading (preferably non-fiction), or even just a walk. These all will 100% feel better in the long run then watching online content. If you don't feel comfortable doing these, great. You have to feel comfortable being uncomfortable. Life will always be filled with uncomfortable moments so why not and try to get used to them.
Does it really help to cover enemies in chess? I mean yes for a while, but wait until u got ur next rl match. What you wanna do? Cover him with a bag or something? If you're even nervous online u cannot just cover them if u want to become a grandmaster
