@@zelven6109even at highest level, people have more and less preferred options, more and less knowledge about certain positions, more and less skill in different game stages. You can bring the prep with you, you still can't bring the stockfish itself to play the game once you're out of the prep. Not to mention that if anything, the requirement to know SO MUCH in advance might've made the game less entertaining, but if anything, it got much tougher for players themselves.
we all know that Levy is knowledgeable enough to be a GM, not a super GM, but who cares about that. he only needs a better head on his shoulder (be calmer) and be less stressed in difficult situations. hopefully we will see him become one.
Congratulations on your win. Watching you motivates me. I've only improved from 300 to 700 elo watching your videos and playing over and over. It is very low but I know how freaking hard it can be. I want to be over 1500 elo so that I can learn Sicilian from you.
Levy can beat anyone. He is good enough that it is very possible for him to beat GM's higher rated than he is. That is, however, provided he can't know who he is playing against.
No it doesnt, gotham has alsi defeated nepo, hikaru, wesley, fabiano and alireza in this format, alireza who btw, when he was very young, was already defeating magnus online multiple times, its just that, in this format, its a lot easier to win against gms than classical since its preety easy to blunder and someone like gotham is at a level where they can take the advantage, its really only a matter of time until levy beats magnus really
Levy thought: “Wow! I just beat Hans, people will realize that I’m pretty dang good after all!” Others thought: “Wow! Levy just beat Hans! . . . Chess must be a pretty easy game to get used to where anyone can beat anyone!”
