I admit to not liking Hamilton back in his McLaren days but with a small bit of hindsight and knowledge I suspect that had more to do with McLaren micromanaging everything the drivers said/did back then which gave him an air of arrogance because as soon as he left for Mercedes it was almost a different Lewis. In interviews more of his personality came out. That's when my opinion of him changed, never doubting his driving ability obviously, I mean the guy is a machine.

Jto true but the teams are always working on developing upgrades to the car. No team is standing still, so I think it’s safe to say that there may be some convergence in engine performance but Ferrari will retain their straight line speed advantage.

Lewis is an exceptional racer for sure, but he's not goat level. Clark, Senna, Schumacher, Fangio and Stewart are that bit better as they all proved their mettle in poor cars. Lewis has never driven a car that is midfield or less. only driven cars that can win races and lets be honest, he's lucked into the last 4 titles as anyone can win a WDC in a Merc. Rosberg proved that and he was crap. so yes Lewis is exceptional but not top tier.

@@ehjhey7 a little change of design or colours would make the world of difference I wouldn't exactly call it a overhaul. I mean the alpha team have been showing a car off with love hearts on for valentine's Day. Next year is a big change to everything but a lick of paint to keep things fresh for the spectators wouldn't do any harm, the liveries is what people look forward to seeing as well as the new chassis
