this song is a song my grandpa sang at church often when he found out he has Cancer. i couldnt hear it without crying, still cant! he passed away 2 years ago next month. i catch my self listening to it often when i think of him. praise the Lord he was a winner either way
My husband listened to this song by the inspirations about eight times one night just shouting and rejoicing and then die not long after and we played it at his funeral...he was the pastor and powerful man of God!
I would like to know more about the lady singing this song. I use the words to this song to inspire my Husbands Mother. she is in the hospital and feels she will beat the diagnoses she was given while her husband is planning her funeral. I was blessed to hear Gods voice as he lead me to sing the course to her. She is a winner either way. Thank you for the song and the video.
Laura Lewis is her Name I got saved by hearing this song when Standing Tall brought it to Radio ... Mrs. Lewis and I used to email each other back then when I got saved I told her my story ..we would email each other quite often then I lost my internet and e-mail account ... This song has been a blessing to me and just recently someone in my Church sang it I get touched every time I hear it as I am in poor Health so I thank Laura Lewis and Trina Curtis for writing and putting music to this song and she told me just like she said in the video this is a true story ....I hope God Blesses and Touches you and everyone around you with this song ...As I will testify it touched and led me to Jesus on a clod Nov Day ... while I was driving home from work ,I was under conviction for a while ..I could not take it any longer so I pulled over got out knelt beside my Truck and Prayer it through ... Jesus cleansed my Heart that day ..some people had gathered around and called EMS someone in a uniform asked me was I ok after repeatedly shaking me ... With a Smile I said I am ok if you do not know Jesus He is here so I will Pray with you if you let me ... I heard some one in the crowd say that boy is on Drugs and they all left the EMS worker said if i was ok he had other calls .. I kept telling Him if he was not Saved Jesus is here and wants to Save You right now ... of course he left without Praying as well... This song has been so close and dear in my Heart since that day ... I could never thank Mrs Laura Lewis enough when we was talking through E-mail .. Her Husband Ray Lewis had Cancer He has passed on now ... but I still hold all the memories of our E-mail talks inside my Heart .... God Bless You ...
