Well, it's about time, Robbie! I've been waiting for this. ;). I just love this show. The Brits sure know how to do Drama. Excellent. Thanks from the USA!
Marisa De More hi, I’m really sorry about the ads. I have tried to remove them from this and my videos before but as I’m not a part of the RU-vid partner program I’m not eligible to. As I don’t own the video RU-vid and ITV have placed ads on this video to gain money from the views.
@@gemmaaaxx Oh wow. Thanks for that Gemma. I had no idea that's what You Tube or ITV did. I thought ads were under the control of the You Tube Channel. So sorry to have a gripe at you. Many thanks for explaining the situation. Have a good evening :-)
🇨🇦Excellent - thanks so much for posting. Loved the Inspector Morse series and was so pleased after it finished that this one came about. Helps to past the time these days.🙏
I like Lewis for breaking the mold of chief di's being relentlessly rough - even in a fatherly sort of way - with their bagmen. Lewis is the only one I've seen who mostly sees them as people in their own right and treats them with some respect. Vera, both Barnabys and even Morse seem to secretly like their bagmen, but have some code about keeping it a secret and treating them as trusted lackeys. It is a refreshing change, makes for a more interesting, less formulaic dynamic.
Agree. Although it suited Morse's personality given his relationship with his own father (my humble take on the character, of course) and the time he was brought up.
Watched AND ADORED John Thaw as Morse (& Kavanagh Q.C.!) when it originally aired, same with Lewis & Endeavour. Some episodes of any show will always be better than others, but as long as it's well-produced quality such as all the above mentioned, l will watch any reruns, repeatedly. This particular episode is a PRIME example of going back to a comfortable place... familiar faces, and banter, the Oxford scenery...but also to relive wonderful moments like here where we see Lewis & Dr.Hobson FINALLY become a couple. I mean, could you ever see him with anybody else after his beloved Valerie?? One day I will make it to England & with my little Oxford sites guide, l WILL visit all these beautiful filming sites. And sights! Most especially l want to find that beautiful gorgeous stone bridge Robbie & Laura are standing on. What a gorgeous setting to take wedding photos at! Sooo pleased that without cable l can still see the irreplaceable Morse & fantastic Lewis via RU-vid!! 👍😃💖🌈🇨🇦🍀
@@gemmaaaxx Thank you so much!! I take it you have been yourself??- l bet it was AMAZING- everything l see in my dreams. And l would drop dead on the spot if l were lucky enough to meet any of them in person. (This also goes w/my wish to visit the Coronation Street set & where they filmed others like Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes & Harry Potter places too!) I have ALOT to dream about lol!! 🤗 from 🇨🇦💖🌈🍀💐
I ADORED LEWIS IN MORSE, AND AM SO IMPRESSED WITH HIS OWN SERIES.BRITISH FILMING NATURALLY COMES WITH THE MOST INCREDIBLE GARDENS AND ESTATES AND BUILDINGS. I LOVE UK, HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE (TERRIFIED OF PLANES) BUT AM ENLGISH IRISH AND SCOTTISH. WISH YOU TOLD US WHERE THESE WERE FILMED.
Hathaway is a bit missing, but he appeared at the end!! Otherwise, all the episodes are great for me, the only thing is that this was not the ideal ending for me!!They let the corrupt policeman go and it still seemed a little naive to me that Lewis saved the little guy and his girlfriend at the very last second, but okay. It's nice that they promoted Croatia because I was born in Zagreb, its capital!!! Come to our coast, the most beautiful coast in the world!!!🌬️🌀🌌🙏
Lawrence Fox is the stand out for me, as he has been in other series I have seen him in. My favorite - Frost is the be all to end all of British detective series.
I hate Films/Videos that open in fits and starts and interruptions announcing the Cast even down to almost the name of whoever bought the Tea/Coffee for the Film set Canteen, I prefer to go straight into the foreplay of setting up the plot ... then at the end of the Film/Video play the credits for those who are interested.... I was nearly asleep when those annoying credits stopped, now we have to go though the waffle and petty gossip and relationship differences plus secretly who loves who!
tempo ratus. Lewis is from Newcastle, so you have an accent to contend with, but the correct pronunciation of ma'am rhymes with 'jam'. It will be helpful for you to remember this if you should ever meet the Queen. 😀. He doesn't say 'mum' though.
1:27:31 the students, when drunk, like to put traffic cones on the heads of these guys... needless to say there are many such cone heads lining the streets any given weekend!
I thought I couldn’t watch this series anymore...because of that rambling xenophobic Laurence Fox ...but one has to separate the art from the artist I suppose . Thanks for uploading!
What are you talking about? One measly actor (supposedly) a little bit more conservative than the flaming Marxists and leftist morons that populate the entertainment industry in Britain and the USA and you already have a problem with it? The left calls anyone a xenophobe who would like to preserve his country for the people who have populated it for centuries.
Lewis is an amazing tv show aspecially these episodesi love it and Taron egerton is an amazing sexy actor i love his movies especially rocketman im addicted to that movie cant stop watching it
