What’s up brother hope all is well. I was reaching out in hopes you can possible give me some guidance on an issue I’m having. I bought the nt1a rhode set up. The interface and mic ! I use fl studio as my recording platform. When using it to record I notice huge changes in the Volume of not just the fl studio platform but it also changes the volume on an outside source such as youtube. It will play feedback in a slow deep voice. Is it possible that my interface is causing all this or maby my iMac hub is powerful enough through the usb connection? Please reach out and help me resolve this issues , I’ll pay you for your time 🙏🏻

Hey there! I’m not sure why you’re getting that issue. Make sure that your audio settings on your computer are set to your audio interface name for both the input and output devices. Let me know if that fixes the issue.

What does recording space have to do with it, they're both the same size.

@@tulsamcclean the outer construction is the same but the capsules are different. The 440 is more sensitive to room noise from my testing. However, it has a lower self noise when cracking up the gain on your interface.

I think the 440 is similar to the rode nt1 a

@@Qissa-Ai both are bright mics, between the NT1A and the 440, I prefer the LEWITT in that case.

Rode nt1 4th gen or 440 pure?

Both great sounding microphones and I intend to do a comparison in the future 😊 But to answer your question, it comes down to personal preference. If you like more neutral sounding mics, then go with the NT1 4th. It’s my favorite for spoken word and sounds great on singing as well. However, if you prefer brighter sounding mics, then go with the LCT 440 Pure. Its great for singing vocals and acoustic guitar.

@@homestudioacademy oh thank you for the response. Both mics are great for sure. Looking forward for the comparison of those mics.

@@jzzz123I didn’t try the 4th gen but I tried the 5th gen rode nt1. 440 pure and 5th gen are both really dang similar. I bought them both to compare. I ended up keeping the 440 pure. 440 pure has a slightly brighter high end which I think is best for music vocals. Go Rode if you like that all natural vocal you hear on podcasts.
