*Smooth operation and love the over sized handle! **enjoyable.fishing** recommend Casts nicely. Fished a recent tournament and used it... had no trouble landing a 6 lb Bass.*
I’ve looked everywhere what size line the reel is compatible with and no one seems to have an answer. I know the rod says 10 to 30 but I’m really just wanting to know what’s best for castability with the reel. In other words what size line will I get best casting performance with in this reel?
I spooled it with 12 lb. P-Line CX. It's a fluorocarbon coated line and I believe it has excellent casting performance and great distance using this setup.
Do you know if this has stainless screws Ido allot of saltwater fishing, and have seen most of my reels rust out in a year or less.Im not the kind of guy that pays to much time maintaining my reels.
The Mach Crush maybe. The Mach 2 and Crush will be only slightly better than this in terms of specs. Same drag, ratios, line weights, lure weights, and spool capacity. Although they will be more reliable. If you want truly better than the $100-$200 lews range, the Lew's Custom Black is the next jump up with a much better spool capacity, drag, and lure weight.
@@BlueLineFishing thank you I just checked Walmart but I figured out they discontinued this one and came out with a new xfinity witch is like all orange and I’m going to pick one up either this evening or tomorrow
I picked one up today at my local Walmart. it was not in inventory and should not have been there as it is discontinued. department manager gave it to me for $25. this model should no longer be in any Walmart stores.
