Lol. You are so right. I literally looked up this scene after like 10 years and I still remember it. Mostly cos I wanted to do it too when I first watched it. So badass.
"Some of us actually work for a living" and by work we mean enforcing arbitrary laws because we wanted the power trip of being a cop without all the effort or responsibility.
In all honesty I would prefer living in a place where cops are encouraged to do things in the interest of the people instead of meeting ticket and arrest quotas. City's gotta get that cash somehow. /s
What's ridiculous is how money can be so scarce when it's just paper. They don't need to write tickets to get cash. It's all about showing they have power and control. The economy makes no sense, how could America be trillions in debt when we could just print more money. People are so ignorant in this country and just conform to this prison planet we are on...
@@themaverickfiles2020 If you print more money to get yourself out of debt it'll only cause inflation. We've had this problem since they took us off the gold standard. But this isn't the setting for a chat macro economics. Lets just enjoy some Smallville!
@@fernandoalmeida5282 money is an illusion. That’s what no one understands. They think it has real value. It’s the banking combines and rich elite families that gave it value to begin with. The economy is a rigged joke. It can go up or down, however the ones calling the shots want it to go. Inflation doesn’t have to happen. They can keep stimulating the economy digitally. The a Federal Reserve Act was created to ensure we the people remain enslaved as well as creating order. Think about it, the Fed loans us money with interest and we never have to pay all of it back. We’re like $30 plus trillion in debt maybe more, who knows the real number, and we never have to give it all back. This is all a sick monopoly board game. Everything can be fixed with a credit jubilee digitally in literally seconds. Cash is already obsolete. Welcome to the digital technological age. Get ready for the micro chip implants. Agenda 2030 here we come!!!
The ticket writing I get, I mean he was only doing his job but talking down to Lex simply for being born into money was wrong. Lex might have been blessed with certain privileges but he worked hard and actually used his money to try and help people at this point. If more rich people have done things like that then maybe we wouldn't be struggling so much.
If I was at meter maid I would have said Thank You thank you mister Luthor thank you thank you for busting out a 9-iron to damage my car and a front of a public place in front of security cameras now I can pick up the phone call a lawyer to sue your ass and get the money I need to go to college and get a real.
