Lexan vs. Paper Bodies - Weight Matters in Racing 

In this video, we will look at the weight comparison of an average .010 painted, trimmed and pinned lexan body and a paper dirt modified body for narrow chassis HO slot cars. The effective weight of the lexan is about 1 gram. The paper body is .70 grams. That's a 30% reduction. And, where weight is on a car is important. Relative to the paper body, the lexan's weight is higher on the chassis.
