Got to love the cars overtaking close on you Not surprised that the electric motor loses no speed going up hill, now if they can make one that will last for over 200 miles and do motorway speeds I might be interested

Been debating if i should buy one of these. I know the original price was 1850 new but now they have pit price up to 2219 which now makes me think shall i just get a 125 instead. Lol

Iv'e had a Lexmoto Echo and i now own the Echo plus and on my ride ride to work there is a 1 in 8 hill, there is no way that the old Echo would do 24 mph (it struggled to do 18 mph) The Echo plus on the same hill struggles to do 21mph, is the hill that you were riding up not as steep as the one that i ride or are the Lexmoto Echo's better in Milton Keynes?

Probably not as steep, comparing the same hill against the echo ridden i got 24 the cypher held a perfect 30 all the way

I was not surprised the electric motor on the Cypher kept the up hill speed .I have noticed when a cordless drill is under extra load the trigger which acts as a variable throttle & the battery’s get hot during prolonged application .I was wondering if constant climbing of long steepish hills especially in hot weather could have a similar effect on these electric mopeds ,causing the controls & batteries to overheat & frazzle their gubbins. Do these electric mopeds have thermal cut out circuit breakers to prevent a melt down situation causing fire or damage to machines or battery’s ? If these machines have the advantage of climbing hills better than conventional mopeds & small capacity petrol engined bikes ,without issues such as overheating.,its a plus in their favour .At present in the short term until the battery’s become lighter & last longer ,I can only see the use of electric power for town/ city or local use with mopeds such as this Cypher .They are going to have to reduce the price & standardise battery’s plus increase battery life & mileage capability whilst retaining good performance to entice seasoned bikers to swop large capacity motorcycles for similar powered electric models .Good ride & review Rev 👍

@@RevBombUK Thats good to know I am not well up on the electric machines ,only used to spannering conventional petrol bikes ..They don’t even put a battery temp gauge on my cordless drill ,you just drop it when it gets too hot to hold 👍
