Omg I have a 07 gs350 and took the -- cable off to change my lowbeams... started up the car no audio or ac😮 .saw your video and did exactly what you explained...I'm back in business 👌🏽 Thanks for the explanation
This worked for 2007 EX350. No apparent reason volume suddenly quit working. Disconnecting battery and reconnecting fixed the problem. Thank you very much!!
Jesus is King! If you do not know Jesus as Savior please pray, “ Jesus save me. At this moment I choose to have faith that You gave Your life for me and rose from the dead. Doing this You defeated death, even though it meant You had to die. You surrendered Your life for me, so I chose to surrender my life to You. Forgive me Jesus, my God. Amen.” Jesus loves you so much. Please accept His love. I encourage you to read the Bible and pray. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten Son into this world, that whoever believes that in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 🙏❤️🙏 Jesus is enough! Again I tell you, Jesus loves you! God believes in you more than you believe in yourself! Trust Him! Thank Him! ❤️🙏
Lexus, how do you F-up a radio? And the GPS map/ console is the most chaotic, screwed up disorganized, disfunctional, infuriating POS ever designed. So many buttons and random function that it is totally useless! Needless useless complexity. PS: None of this worked to fix the sound. All I get is a speaker "clunk" when I start the car. I'll never buy a Lexus again.
by the way isnt removing the positive cable first a very bad idea. I thought that you should always remove the negative first then positive and reverse from there to not electrocute yourself? so would it work if i just remove both cables? do you have link to the forums that you speak of? thanks!
It is good practice not because the order matters but because your ratchet is metal and it is more likely to touch a grounded car frame which will give you a nice spark.
My 07’ Lexus “Disc” button is pressed and stuck. Is there a repair kit for this or would I have to buy a new stereo?? Any info will help. Thanks I’m advance.
@@pierregradner622 do you hear the double popping sound when turning on the car? I bought a new amp, it’s not working and my other amp makes the sound and still doesn’t work after being dried up in the sun
This shit worked for my 2008 gs350, honestly had my doubts cause I thought I had a water Leak into the amp, but very happy the battery trick worked🤠 thank you👌
I unplugged the battery and plugged it back in, radio still wasn't working. I had to take the radio all the way out unplug it from the back, and then reinstall it. Now it's working fine.
@@MikeAnvil Since the summer started, the amp started working on and off, and I just learned to live with it. I’m gonna open the amp up and clean it with alcohol one day, someone told me that worked for them
I think that if this is happening then it could be a cap or something in the amp whichis mounted in the trunk starting to go , in my 06 is350 just started to do this in my case I think that its moisture because when it rains it does this so I put a heater in my trunk and it fixed the problem probably until it rains again which means i have water coming into my think probably from some vent I cannot see
sometimes my audio doesn work too. i turn on my car i hear my speakers in the back make a popping noise but i hear no audio. my radio works and everything.. just sometimes my audio doesnt wanna work.
Tried this on my 2008 ES350 and it worked. Dealership said it was the Bose amplifier. $500 dollars parts and labor. Took the cable of and it started working. Thanks
did you remove the positive first? isnt that dangerous? I have heard that you should always remove the negative first then when installing it back positive first....
Same with mine, I just pulled and pushed on volume button turned off and on a couple times as I was pushing and pulling and turning and it works now no disconnect need
i have a 2007 is250 navy blue, both radio 1 and 2, 30A fuses in the fuse box next to the battery where blown, replace them and both blown back as soon you insert them, their amp on this cars go bad due to moisture condensation, will grab one at the yunk yard this weekend hope that one is good. : ( hate a car with no audio system working.
Very similar to mine. Only i suspect the amp got blown because autozone reversed the terminal when replacing battery. I have been out of sound for few weeks now. So it worked for you? Replacing the amp stopped fuse from popping?
@@Jojo-en6mu a lot of times it will be moisture build up on the amp. There are ways to cut off ventilation with some tape. But if you can’t get it to work at all try removing the fuses maybe even replacing them.
After watching this for a tip on getting all my speakers to work I could not help but see how dirty this battery was. People always clean the top of your battery. The reason being is that you get leakage between the terminals if it is dirty. It can flatten your battery and decrease the life of it if you don't.
Please don't be offended why does everyone's Lexus is250 & is350 Engine Compartments are filthy Dirty, I would hate too see up under the panels. By the way you have Low Tire pressure and some other stuff on also.....No Offense!
