Great job once again man Finally getting to go fishing for 1 week bday week ❤ Thanks again to you and your eife for the content. Something a little different which was nice 🤘🤘🤘
Great video ! your rig is really cool love those wheels the color matches well whit the truck , this old GX's have very little mechanical issues i think for my experience the mayor ones are the valley plate leak , secondary air system aka "Limp mode ", and timing chain cover leak , the secondary air system can be easily fix at home GXBOB have a video about it , for the other issues is just best have a really good mechanic and cash on had because they are not cheap to repair the rest is just commonsense maintenance and this trucks will run long time , my advise to any one buying one of this trucks will be check this issues first.
Nice Rig! I"m new to your channel and I'm loving your Videos. Keep up The Good Work! I have a 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser. Do you happen to know any good mechanics around San Antonio who you would trust to work on it?
Welcome to the channel. I don’t know a shop personally, but I think there should be some solid places up there. Probably a good idea to ask your local community. I hope you keep your LC for many years. 🎥
i get what you mean with the mechanical issue. i live in Kuwait in the Middle East so basically 50-55 degree hot soaring weather. Also, winters can go as low as -1 degrees cels. i have a 2012 Toyota sequoia limited and it has about 240,000kms. About 149000 miles. And it has that coolant leak issue. Also, one of my good friends has a 2013 Toyota landcruiser with the 4.6 v8 you guys don’t get. basically a detuned 5.7 that the sequoia gets. And it has about 260,000kms on it and it just started having the coolant leakage and stuff. it’s all about age ig. but he has installed an iron man 2.5 lift inch on the landcruiser. and ever since, it has been acting up in terms of heating issues with the gearbox and engine whilst idle. but, i think it has to do with our soaring weather lol! nevertheless, Toyotas do well here in the Middle East
Awesome video. Do you do these off road installations or do you have a preferred vendor in the valley who does these for you? I'd like to do some work to my rig.
Some things I do myself, but I leverage heavy projects to Truck Toyz and D&D wheel alignment; both in McAllen. They do everything. From bumper installs to lifts and so many other things.
Enterita la troca!! Hola Robert.
🎥gracias!!
I drove down PI recently (Toyota 4R TRD Premium). Two questions - can the tide catch you even if you tent at the dunes? How do you watch out for high tides and can my regular height (T4R-TRD) make it all the way down (mile 50) the beach? Everybody seems to have lifted vehicles.
It is highly unlikely that the tide will catch you at the edge of a dune, but a sudden storm with high winds or severe cold front can certainly do so. We've had to take refuge closer to the dunes in order to avoid water coming into camp. Your awesome 4runner will have zero issues making it anywhere out there. You may consider lowering the tire pressure to about 16psi for added security and comfort, but that's your choice. I always lower my TP in order to increase traction, reduce a risk of a puncture, and ride quality improvement. Good luck and thanks for watching.
