Went auto crossing with a local Corvette club last weekend. Quite a few C5/C6/C7’s as well as C5Z/C6GS/C6Z/C7GS and lots of other nice cars like 911’s, STI’s, 335, Miata’s, CTSV, BRZ, etc. The ISF did surprisingly well and took 3rd best time all day of about 80 cars and best in my heat.
This is probably my 6th autocross and the course was very tiny and technical, first gear the whole time. I had an 08 ISF before with BC coils and Borla and 18” Rays on cheaper BF Goodrich summer tires. Had too much roll, too much rub, less traction in the twists, and just overall worse than my current setup.
Current setup:
-2012 Lexus ISF (with the LSD and updated steering ECU and suspension updates over the 08)
Power: PPE UEL catless headers, Xforce Varex valved catback exhaust, RR Racing tune with 93 fuel, AFE dry filter with titanium intake elbow
Handling: HKS Coilovers, Rays Gram Light 57CR wheels 19x9.5+45 square, Michelin P4S front 255/35, Michelin PSS rear 285/30. Set at 38psi for autox. Figs 90 LCA bushings. F-Sport rear sway bar. Project Mu Type PS brake pads with Brakenetic rotors in the front, rear are two piece rotors with unknown pads.

This was my last and best run of the day. The first 2 I went off course, and the next two I hit a cone. Made it count for the 5th! Car handled very well, zero issues. No brake fade nor any dust, great grip from the tires. Literally nothing I can think of improving other than myself. Looking forward to more runs!
