And don't even get me started on reliability between an Aston Martin and a Lexus! Paul McCartney said he thought his Aston Martin was a nice car to drive but it was hard to tell because it was always in the shop being repaired whereas Lexus almost always comes off number 1 for reliability.

+sidewaIS200 Haha. :-) Nah it was in his book he wrote decades ago, forget the name, Maybe it was _"Many Years from Now"._ Anyway the comment wasn't about how reliable a Lexus is but how unreliable his Aston Martin was. Ford bought A.M. in 1991. They deserve each other.

Something that will give you years of problem free transport or a snarling, unpredictable beast that keeps you guessing and has this elusive quality they call *_"character"._* Like Harley Davidson. Possibly one of the most unreliable, worst handling oil leakers in the motorcycle world but still they attract the rebellious, renegades of society because of their image.

I love Japanese automotives because of their faithful mechanicals and ridiculously mod friendly engines..Don't get me wrong german cars are great though but they could suck the life outta u if you aren't taking them seriously but with the Japanese cars,u could live with them as your buddy from the 1st grade.😍😍 P.S i am am owner of a f10 535i and a 8th gen civic 1.8 with forced induction modifications😁

Let's see...if you are going by name and prestige then Aston Martin . Everything else the Lc 500 wins hands down. Reliability, almost identical in performance, less than half the price, beauty...enough said!

Anyone who says LC500 is basically a Toyota knows nothing about cars. LC500’s chassis is stiffer than LFA, yet LFA has a carbon monocoque construction. I doubt Aston’s chassis is that stiff. The majority of the production cost for cars at this level goes to the chassis, not the engine, and consider the price and the building quality, Lexus hardly makes any profit on LC500, whereas DB11 has a big, fat profit margin for AM.

@@HeellpFunny cuz I drove the LC before too but only been inside the Aston. However, since we're only talking about interior, I have as much say as you. The Aston is really really nice but the LC is not plastic-y at all. So you're either a badge snob or you're lying. Either way, shame on you.

The more I look the more I love this car the way it was designed and built inspired by top notch engineers and engineering masterpiece. After having many many Lexus models over the last 20 years, I can attest to their reliability and quality. I have a feeling there would be a lot more maintenance on the Aston Martin.

What shocked me most of all is the Aston Martin was able to drive several miles without breaking. I thought they would need a tow truck for the Aston Martin but I was wrong.

Why don't we look at the real 800 pound gorilla in the room? The Lexus isn't going to spend 60% of its time at the dealership being fixed. The DB11 is a time bomb just waiting to go off. So for half the money, you get the same performance or better and you get to keep your house.

For price, performance, and sheer beauty, looks like the Lexus handily won. Lexus please! The Lexus looks far better than the Aston to me which looks like a two door Nissan Maxima with that floating roof... not to mention Lexus reliability.

Whilst the LC is sexy, I personally prefer the look of the AM. And given the AM costs 2.5x of the LC, I choose the LC hands down.

I’ll take the Lexus. The DB is a great looking car as well on the outside, but is miles behind Lexus in the interior. The Lexus’ interior looks more expensive than the DB. And I bet the Lexus is also the more comfortable gt to drive.

Technically, a Sports-Car does not have a back seat. ⭐ Two-Doors and a back seat with a high performance package makes it a BRITISH MUSCLE-CAR. Although the ONE-77, the Superleggera and the Vulcan would be classified as Super-Cars, closer to the Bugattis and the Lamborghinis.

That would be a more realistic test but for me the Lexus LC500 makes more sense. The DB11 V8 is still US$205,000 and does look as stunning as the Lexus LC500.

It's a car made for rich people. Not me. And I say this as someone who went to medical school. If I lied to myself and pretended to be an actual rich man, i would feel my fakery at the first $10,000 repair bill of the Aston. I simply cant comfortably afford that. I would have to sell it and tell my friends "well, you know..." and both of us would lie to each other that i sold it by choice not because i couldnt afford it. And we'd both confirm the lie because my friend would think well, if he can afford to keep an Aston and then sell it by choice then I guess we're BOTH rich because I could do that , too. But in the end, we'd be lying to ourselves and playing "Im a rich person." it works. the real winner is the mechanic who upsells the parts and charges for labor. The real loser is my children's law school tuition. Oh well, the world needs ditch diggers' too.

Are you nuts ?! LC 500 vs Vantage is the correct compare .. not a AM thats 150k $ more expensive one ... But this video wants to show LC 500 is a overall bang for you buck and that it is near better than anmuch epensive english rival for a lot cheaper amount.
