Hi there! I just bought this exact same rooftop tent, the nature nest, and I don’t know what kind of roof racks I need to buy. So they say the tent weighs about 170 lbs. I weigh 120 and my husband weighs 170. I have a 2019 Toyota RAV4 which comes with factory bars. What cross bars or roof rack did you have to buy to hold all the weight? Will the thule cross bars work for my car? Will I JUST need the cross bars and none of the other bars ? Thanks!:)

Congrats on the new tent! There are two weight measurements you need to look at ( Static and Dynamic). Crossbar kits have ratings for both. My friend bought the Thule bars in the description links as they had a higher weight rating and seem to work well for her set up. Hope that helps!

I have the same problem, my tent 165 pound and the same as my suv cross bar can hold, I talked to my friend, his cross bar can hold 150pound and his whole family (5-600 pounds) sleep in it, he said that he never check the maximum weight 😅
