Put together a couple sound clips of this setup for you guys. Sorry about the quality on the second clip, video was sent to me by a friend recording on his phone.
@@monstrosityguy5375 Shoot, I can only imagine !! Stock RCF with exhaust already feels like a video game. Once you Supercharge that puppy?! Boy I would be acting a straight FOOL in that !!! 😂
Thank you! and yes cats and resonators are still on. The car can get much louder but you lose a little tone and get more drone when you start deleting all that lol
Yea but tbh it wasn't too far behind the competition back in 2015 but these days its just not keeping up with majority of the current turbocharged cars or even other N/A ones
@@corywilliams3831 So it was ordered through ebay from a seller who gets them from the exact same manufacture as Voltex apparently. Everything was brand new and is the exact same as the original Voltex and I've confirmed it by seeing an actual Voltex in person. The quality was actually perfect and the carbon weave looked amazing. The guy had it for like $1500 or best offer and when we offered $1200 he sold it for that on the first offer we gave him. Way better than the $2500 Voltex charges to just put their stamp on an already manufactured product.
@@Zelow. Nice gotcha! Also if you don't mind, sure this one will agrivate you, sorry ahead of time, mind sharing your wheel and tire specs with me along with anything you have done suspension wise? I've seen people running 19s and 20s, 9.5 front with 10.5 rear on widths. It's kind of all over the board but I really like how yours sits so that's why I'm asking the man himself. Thanks for being patient and answering some stuff for me. I think I plan on going straight jump to JRZ when I get mine as I've had a track car with them already and loved them, with some solids in the front lcas and other key spots just to stiffen places up a bit. Car won't be a daily.
@@corywilliams3831 No problem bro! Front is 20x9 +25 and rear is 20x10.5 +38 And the car is just sitting on Swift Lowering Springs right now and they've been great for almost 3 years on the car now and give it the perfect drop. If you want the full adjustability coils are definitely going to be the better choice.
@@paladin3116 There's a smell and you'll notice it a lot more when the headers are first put on the car. But it's not a super strong smell (at least not for me) and after having the headers on for a while you don't even really notice the smell at all as you'll get used to it.
Quick question: I have PPE headers on my RCF and have a strong gas smell from exhaust while driving or on idle. Does your RCF have a strong gas smell with that setup?
Don't have the car anymore but It did have a bit of a gas smell when at idle but never really bothered me or was TOO strong even with the windows down. This is very common with catless headers but I think this also has to do with the person themselves and their tolerance so what may not be too bad for me might be pretty bad for you and vice versa.
