With many RU-vid videos that I consume while I work, the "Thanks for Watching" comes at the very end and gives me a reminder to click the Like Button. With Trail Mater, it's a reminder that the Outtakes and fun stuff are about to hit the screen. I don't know what makes these guys so genuinely happy, but they would make a fortune if they could bottle it.
Same, I also have a group of 3 or 4 channels that I watch consistently. Rory and Casey LaDelle are at the top of the list. Not just because of their content, but to also support these guys. Plus, hitting the like button is often the only way I know that I've watched this video before. Currently working through the older stuff. The more we watch, the more they benefit!
Thanks to all the people who ignore maintenance on their cars and then go out to see Utah's wonders you guys have jobs and we get quality entertainment 😅😅😅
guys you're hitting plate underneath or something - MIKE. LOL Shawn put the hammer down. LOL You guys are wild! Let's see does he make it!!! I do want some of those rocks for my yard!! Y'all doin good work guys. THat wasn't that guy with bad breaks was it???? at the end???
Nice out there. Never seen that before. Showed the grandson as what he is growing up with is BC coastal rain forest and dairy farms. Thanks for the scenery shots S&M.
Love The Mike and Shawn Show... 🙂 whooops drive shaft 🙂 trail repair for 'Trailmater Junior' and then get the customer rolling again too 🙂 Thanks for sharing 🙂
This channel is at its "Zenith" ,.. It just can't get any better than the stuff you guys are posting this summer.. Awesome..entertaining...fun and funny...Thanks.
Fantastic use of a hammer shawn☆!! That is some Legit "ingenuity " sir at it's finest....🤯 👍👍 Great job on the [ upgrades ] to trailer rory , especially like those encapsulated taillights 😏(not knocking it's prior beautiful tapejob ). After all you use what you have🤷♂️.... Super job on all the eXtra you make sure we get with the camera shots mike, it's noticed☆!!! Thank for tha share y'all.. ☕🐢
Great down-line video shots with the Jeep with the broken knuckle. It gives a real sense of the slope of the ridge. Nice set of recoveries. Thanks again.
Mike capturing the driveshaft slipping out reminds me how great of a job you guys do capturing great perspectives without always seeing what's your capturing. Nicely done.
..................G'day mates, how's the Trail Mater "gang" going? Hey Mike, what are the Diamond beaked Rock-Peckers smokin' out there? Cheers, Malcolm.
"Here's what happened: Shawn was driving; and it broke." So Shawn, how's the view? The view from under the bus where Mike threw you? You guys are crazy fun.
Nice job guys!! I think the first guy should maybe have had a break job a WHILE back!! LOL!! He could have avoided some inconvenience. You got them both back to safety with no problems!! Tell Mike from now on he has to leave you at least ONE camera! LOL!!
A year later the Lexus goes to a shop for brake problems and the mechanic says your right rear brakes are worn out but I think have a hammer that will fix it. You guys are great. 😁
....and we all yell at the screen - "front drive line! Front drive line!", Like you can hear us from there ...lol. Thanks for sharing. (poor Rory - can't video what he's doing)
Hey Rory /// Shawn & Mike !!!! Great recoveries !!!🙂🙃😉 Did you get your hammer back ???? 🤔🙄 Think that guy needs a complete brake overhaul ??? 😮🥺 ""OL"" Blue could use some rocker panels by the looks of the video !!!! Nice work on the ""Rollback "" !!! 🤠😎👀👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
Did the rock they got hung up on at the perfect moment act as the pry bar? I have limited knowledge of all this driveline stuff. These group of friends in Utah I follow have helped my knowledge immensely
Great call on the sharp corners Mike! If there's a sharp corner on anything, my shin will find it. Ive got more scars... The world needs less sharp corners. More Mikes!
Great recoveries as always. Also that’s why you should check over your vehicle before you go out wheeling. Looks like lack of maintenance too me with how scored the rotor is and non existent brake pads.
Since (it seems like (from watching videos) you dont use that rollback trailer everyday, I wonder if a small solar powered battery charger might be a good add on for the trailer's winch battery? That way you could use it and park it outside and igtnore it, but it might charge its own battery fully by the time you need to use it again?
No worries, Old Blue is in the out back now, It will require so many upgrades to make it near fool-proof. rolling on. Great recovery men. The LORD Be with you and yours. Know the word, and the word is Christ Jesus. amen.
My 12 yr. old daughter and I drove from Oregon to Texas last month and on the way to the Arches Park we stop and I took her picture next to the Trail mater truck that was parked out front. I was the one excited, she said, "what are you doing this for?" LOL.
The Mike and Shawn show does it again!! I think Rory needs a longer slip yoke on that front drive shaft! Really impressive tow down poison spider, you guys are the best and you got em out!!🤣
Good Grief! How long do you listen to brake grinding before you get a clue?! Bruh... that rotor was gone.. that didn't just happen on the trail... that's been f'd for a long time.. it just finally gave him the finger... Isn't it scary that we live amongst people that are that oblivious to their surroundings?
Howdy Rory!!! I really appreciate how LAID BACK you, Shawn & WisconsinMike are during these rescues/repairs.. .....just get 'er done!!🤠 Haven't seen ANYTHING yet that totally flips out y'all 😎😎😎 TOTAL BOSS ATTUTUDES Safe travels, friends ❤️❤️ Stay FROSTY... Keep your powder dry and your head on a swivel... 🇺🇸🇺🇸WWG1WGA🇺🇸🇺🇸NCSWIC🇺🇸🇺🇸
You might have to put a panhard bar on the front of Blue. It seemed to pop out when he turned all the way to one side, and I think it caused the axle to shift right quite a bit. It also rolled downward a little with the flex of the leaf springs. It's interesting how much the stock setup allows the axle to move around.
Nice catch, I liked the old Rory. He looked alike a guy you didn't want to mess with. But the soon to be wife probably has a say in the matter and wants civilized wedding photos.
Piston, not plunger😂 used to work at a classic car restoration shop that restored and rebuilt classic and rare brake calipers. Old boss would have an aneurysm if he heard pistons called a plunger😂😂
Time to put some rock sliders on the Blue wrecker. What needs to be fixed with front axle coming apart a few times here and there? Makes for fun video but annoying for the guys that have to fix it regularly.
the mitered ends of the tail lite brackets should have been to the out side edge ., they are on bass akward , but what do I know , I'm just a D.F. watchin videos.
