I used to ride buses like this back in 80s in Hong Kong. The red stand near the entrance was used to collect money from riders. It has a window at the driver side, so the drivers could check the amount correct or not. I remember the loud engine right at the entrance, and the foam cushion wooden seats.
I am glad that some of the Leyland Victory II are still in great condition. I really love those Leyland Victory because they are capable or actually optimize for hilly roads and also they are a true slope conquerer in those days.
