That's because the scripts do not know to fight against other NPCs. lol. Look at magma wrym. They can't dodge the lava. But there were early game NPCs fighting in the late game which should of happened.
Idk why but I love watching enemies like the misbegotten and demihumans fight it feels like watching two clans of monsters fight and I loved watching the leoline bitch slap the demihuman chieftain
There is no shame in enjoying a monster species battle. That's why i already requested a humanoid monster species war months ago from Björn the bear. Demi humans, misbegotten, omens, ancestral followers, man serpents, kindreds of rot and beastmen.

The sequence at 46:28 is incredible. The gargoyle recovers just as the music starts to swell and combos his opponent to break his stance, and then finishes him off on the flashiest way possible, again in time with the soundtrack.

First of all, I didn't expect the onxy lord to take such a big beating, I thought it would be more exciting, I like their design, it reminds me of ancient elves and according to the lore they should be powerful, the magma wyrm is a monster, I thought only theodorix was violent, and rykard losing to a gargoyle without being the maliketh variant was epic.
Wilhelm was an absolute legend. True sorcerer. And I loved how the fire monk refused to get fooled twice and dodged that attack to his back by ducking it.
