''Today we're gonna draw TWO penalties, because I have a frickin' deathwish''. 100% gold right there xD ''I have a frickin' deathwish'' seriously needs to be in the LFR10 intro :D
Hey Steve, I have been watching you for a couple years now and have loved you and your videos for a long time, and i just wanted to say thank you for everything that you have done. The appreciation does not just come from me it comes from thousands of other die hard leaf fans. Lots of us leaf fans see you as our leader, i am not sure if you realize it, but you are the closest thing we got to CHIEF OF LEAFS NATION! You help us leafs fans keep our heads up when they are so often down, are there to celebrate with us when the leafs triumph! I especially love you because you shed light on our losses and help leaf fans remain optimistic. Unfortunately our Leafs Nation has been losing the its strength and everyday loses a couple members. It is unbelievable that even Torontonians are hopping on the habs bandwagon (i hate the habs, as every leafs fan should)! and i know only you can make it better! Steve Dangle, the Leafs Nation is in need of a defined leader! and I elect that person to be you, along with Mrs. Dangle as your lovely First Lady! I NOMINATE STEVE DANGLE FOR PRIME MINISTER OF LEAFS NATION!!!!!
+Jeff Bryson This will give you some false hope... ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/jersey-fouls-of-the-week--thanksgiving-level-fouls-from-across-the-nhl-162313963.html
How can this guy only have 32 000 subs? I'm a MTL fan and he's a must watch. A guy like this breaking down the blue blanc rouge...300 000 subs in a year.
"crosses intersections in a single stride" - pure gold Steve, loving the Chara quotes lately I think Bab's keep's playing Reimer. See how he bounces back from the rough outing and make decisions from there. The five days off will do him well.
+Sacha Mitchell Missed the playoffs a bunch of times and got put out many times in the first round. Yes that is better than Toronto but don't try and say "consistently well" because that's a joke.
When were saying Reimer didnt have his best game cause were now used to him only allowing a max of 1 goal a game... hahaha. Wow. He's a human. Nobody is on Rinne's jock for allowing 3 goals on 16 shots last night and he is 1 of the best goalies in the league... lol. You can't be spectacular every night. Fact is, Reimer is #1. Fact is, Reimer gets the start on Saturday (hoping his injury is minor like i said it is). Id be shocked to see Bernier in net, and i would be devistated, as thats a hit to Reimers confidence once again. Reimer get's the start 100% if you ask me.
+Danielsan If Bernier goes back in net, it can be assumed he'll give 100%. I believe he's a great goalie but with a great contract obviously he's not as hungry as Reimer. If he gets hot I say trade him then, if not, well what can you do with a poor goalie with a high price. Keep him for backup I guess. Lots of great goalies around the league with high salaries. Oh man, I can't get that long shot soft goal out of my head that Bernier let in.
Keep Reims on. Everyone has a rough night every so often, and with how Reims has been playing, it's inevitable that he does, too. That said, putting Bernier in net may convince the rest of the team to step up their game, as they can't rely entirely on their goalie to pull them out of their defensive mistakes. That said, I'd still take Reims - He's been lights out, and goalies do better the more work they get. He'll have rest and practice for Saturday's game, so it makes sense to move in that direction.
REIMER BETTER BE IN NET SATURDAY. EVERY time I go to a Leafs game with my dad (which is only once a year bc boo you Leafs and your hella expensive tickets), Reimer is never in net, its always Bernier. And as someone who has been a Reimer fan since 2013, I just want to see him play!!! (Also my dad loves the Nazim Kadri Bob Ross stuff)
There's no reason not to start Reimer. Yeah he was a bit shaky this game but he battled back. He has earned the starter job. Bernier had his shot. Now he can settle back into being he number 2 he always was.
I'm not a Leafs fan, but if I was in charge of deciding who starts in the next game, and since it's not until Saturday, I'd say Reimer. It's not like it's a back to back. But since Reimer left practice this morning favoring his leg, I'd say you're going to have to go with Bernier.
Reimer might be injured atm. So bernier may get his chance. But come on. Reimer had a bad game but he is still playing well. But i did notice he wasn't playing that big like he ussually does. He went to his knees to early on some plays.
I'm not saying he should be playing every games except back-to-back ones, but if everyone, including the coach says that Reimer is the team #1 goalie and the team has 5 days off, you go with the #1 goalie of the team. The question in the video was who do you play next game and he lost 1 game. Who do you want to see in the net next game? Edit: He lost 2 in a row, but still, the leaf had no goal, can't blame the goalie for that.
Then i must have explained myself poorly, i just wanted to say that he's the Toronto Maple Leaf #1 goaltender, in a contest between 2 average/decent goalies. I personally think you need more than 1 great season to be called elite.
i think they should give reimer the reigns. With Berniers bad play reimer should steer the ship and prove he can be a true #1 for the leafs. If bernier can't win then he shouldn't play its plain and simple
I think you go with Reimer Saturday & Give Bernier the Start On Monday to keep him fresh. leave to Reimer to have one bad game and Leafs Fans jump on the Bernier bandwagon #SMH 😅😅😅Leafs Nation is a funny bunch. "Oh Who Am I Kidding, Brad Marchand can't High Stick The Puck" 😂😂😂.
The entire game I kept saying that some needs to take a run at Marchand, but with chara on the ice that's not happening. I then said I wished that freaking Orr was in the line up cause he'd fight anybody. And what dose kadri do? He drew two penalties and got chara off the ice for a power play. Death wish is accurate
I thought the refs were really fucking awful. The fact that Kadri had a high and dangerous hit on Krejci and retaliated on Chara and the Bruins are the ones on the penalty kill. That was one of the worst games I've seen the Bruins play this season since the middle of October. But yeah the Leafs just don't beat the Bruins, it just never happens
5:42 The leafs win when they get out shot and look worst than their opponent? Trade for Jaroslav Halak, the habs got to the conference finals with that philosophy back in 2010 thanks to that guy.
I'm mean this in the nicest way possible. The leafs are completely screwed for this year and years to come. Always stuck between not knowing to tank or go for playoffs and will always be mediocre
