It baffles me how professional teams can hold off so well even when they have such a huge disadvantage. In game 1, Liquid had a fairly horrible early game yet they still managed to almost turn it around and extend/delay the game by a lot. Even though they didn't win that match in the end, it was still very commendable and very hard to perform. Things like this is what makes a team such as Liquid very strong. Props to both LFY and Team Liquid for fantastic games for us fans to behold.
well they have high skills no doubt about that, but most of it are thanks to proper communication, Pub player underestimate team communication but if you play on a 5v5 lobby with friends even if you are not pro's you can see the difference in your gameplay if you communicate well.
Can anyone give me a reason why they always first ban io when facing liquid. I know both gh and kuroky are in god mode when they play io but I thought io is easier to counter than kotl and es. Why not ban kotl and es and let them play io? Imo io is not that imbalance tho
charlie kim dude wat. Io is super broken in good hands, it makes splitpushing way easier and makes you able to get GLOBAL pick offs. EG let GH have Io in a recent tournament and they lost 1-24.
Daniel Badia he means how every liquid player can play at least 7-8 heroes amazingly and how some of the heroes intertwine so out drafting or counter drafting is very hard Seeing as how gh can es kotl io and earth spirit Mc has his NP BM veno and bristle Matu has his lycan veno pugna LD Miracle has his troll ss invoker am Sven ta od blood jugg With all their massive hero pools team struggle to play against them cause if u counter 1 of them the other 3 will destroy u and if u try to counter m god koro will end up putting m god on one of his less comfortable heroes and hell still wreck u
Game 1 hoooo fuckinn boi. Lfy was lucky enough to have the winning end of buybacks and farm. If matumbaman had just a bit more farm and miracle had more momemtum, lfy would have been done. Game 2 is just gh earthshaker doing it on the main stage. What a phenomenal performance.
Morphling Spammer they didn't rat like how alliance did in ti3. They totally dominated game 2 and game 3 and going for the objectives instead of delaying to farm...That's totally different from how alliance played
Morphling Spammer alliance is shitstorm of rat bulldozing from the start to the end. Liquid on the other hand dominates the game until they over farm their opponent but if it fails, that rat will commence
Alliance rats from the get go, putting their presence everywhere on the map, and only fights if they really have to, or think they're strong enough to end the game. They usually farm and avoids fighting 5v5. While Liquid only does this if they are behind, but they're not afraid to take fights either. Imagine a team with TI3 Navi's teamfight coordination and TI3 Alliance's ability to split push. That's how scary Liquid is.
U banned gh hero then you need to think how to counter mindcontroll nature miracle hero matumba hero its a fuckup sintuation for opponent its a mind game you need to think more than usual

We all know matumbaman is like that, but he is humble in defeat and victory aside from him all of liquid players are down to earth people....also your taking chat wheel as trash talk from them when everyone is using them after winning a fight or doing something spectacular.

Cheesy plays and strat by liquid. Objective base gaming all the way. Which sucks because I want to 5 on 5 battle rather than a bear munching a racks (although lfy and liquid did have a 5 on 5 clash a few times). It reminds me of wings gaming alacrity + primal spilt combo that got removed. Nonetheless they deserve to be on the finals because ancient > kill enemies
