Thank you for this excellent video. After the backlight replacement (or on any LED TV for that matter) it's best to set the brightness level in the menu to 50 - 60% to ensure the backlight fault will not re-occur. LEDs in modern TVs operate at too high a current when the screen brightness is set to maximum, which reduces their lifetime.

Hey man so my dad just had his UN60ES6100FXZA Samsung 60” go extremely dim and doesn’t brighten even after all the troubleshooting. Not sure why. Then MY 50” sharp TV went out. . It turns on and reads the Roku but no picture and no sign at all of the backlight working. . Any help would be greatly appreciated
