Love the thoroughness of your videos Jimmy!! I have a perplexing issue on my 75" Samsung tu-8000. At first I was noticing small dark spots on the screen and they gradually started to grow and I started seeing more and more areas like this. Now, about 4 months later, I'm starting to see the actual led bulbs shining through the screen. They are perfectly in a row and the ones at the top are the most prominent. This TV was bought brand new from Amazon in 2021 at Christmas. It's barely 18 months old. I've watched a lot of your videos and I'm confident I can replace parts, but I'm not sure which parts I will need. I checked out your shop and I'm sure you have the parts I need, but I'm unsure as to what I should buy. It's almost like the diffuser panel melted inside the unit, sounds weird but that kind of what it looks like. I can make a video and take pics of you'd like. And I'll pay for your time as well. Any help is appreciated :) Thanks
I'd like to add that the TV is on almost all the time. I'm unsure if this is pertinent information or not, but I wanted to let you know that this set runs nearly 24/7.
@@GimeII new led strips? I've not replaced anything yet because I'm unclear what the issue may be. It literally looks like the leds had some sort of diffuser on them, and most of them fell off. That's all I can think of that's happened. Either that or they literally burned holes in the difusser sheets.
@@_CryptoNoob_ i habe same problem, I changed led strips but only half of them work. The old strip works good 30 seconds and after overheated maybe about 80-100C. Output voltage 218V
@@GimeII so you replaced your led strips and it fixed some of the spots? Hmm interesting. I will order a set of new leds and try it myself. Is yours a crystal HD tu-8000 Samsung?
Have a 75au8000 that's completely dead. Tried replacing mother board and power supply with no luck. When just plugged into the power supply the LEDs don't turn on? Could it be bad LED or is LCD bad? Any advice helps
Great video but I wish you would have shown how unsnap the cover before the start of the video. There at the bottom of the tv. Those have to be unsnapped before going around the cover frame.
@shopjimmy is this the same for a un75nu6900f ? right side of the screen is blacked out. you can see from the left going to the right. so about 75% of the screen is viewable, just the last 25% of the screen is not viewable.
