I got an LG C2 last year and I absolutely love it. The PS5 with games running at 100fps with VRR is incredible. Everything on this TV is incredible. HDR games and movies look so good.
Just bought the 55" yesterday..unbelievable!! I have had a 50" Pioneer Elite for like 20 years! love that Tv a bunch..but finally jumping into todays technology is mind blowing 😧
I have both the c3 and c2. The difference between the 2 are sooooo minimal, like you have to look very veeeery close at the 2 side by side to notice that the c3 is just very slightly brighter, like a hair brighter. If you’re looking at getting one save a little money and just buy the c2.
@@CyberCheese392 You have to go into the Service Menu of the C2 to disable TPC and GSR. Whereas on the C3 that has been fixed and no longer requires anyone to have to resort to that.
@@TakiTarik Acer! Or Asus. One of them. I’m pumped. I think they’re using panels made by LG. And that other company Dough is making one but their track record is dodgy
You don't have to give up PC gaming. I game on PC on a 65 inch OLED LG C2. If you want the full console experience, just have Steam Big Picture Mode launch at Windows startup
Bro 1. Shout out for the content you consume- Polyphia, DBZ, God of War and all the other games. 2. Dad gamer for sure. 3. Love a good CRT gaming experience. Solid video. Highly relatable
My 65inch c1 is still going strong. But in my gaming room I have a ps5 with the 42” C3. On the opposite end is my Alienware Oled monitor for my pc. The LG is great for console and media! Love it
upgraded to this from a 2019 vizio M series 50inch "XLED" Yeah... felt like my ps5 has been disrespected till I got this TV. (RIGHT IN TIME FOR FFXVI) LOVING IT!
Hey bud, got a C1 and thought I'd mention that you can turn off ads if you wanted. I cannot remember where the setting is, but there will be a video somewhere on how to turn them off :) Welcome to the LG club bro
My C3 is coming in tomorrow, and I just saw at 4:48 that it has a 3.5 mm jack. I didn't know that, it didn't say on rtings but this is of immense value for me! Now I don't need an optical to BT/3.5 mm adapter anymore! Later edit: it seems that the 65" doesn't have this, what a shame.
think im gonna pull the trigger tomorrow on it. 1.6k after cashback for 55'' but with delivery and 5 year warranty. but sadly we dont have ANY warranty on burn in. but i think i just do it. had 2 defect samsungs and they didnt even care. no tv right now. so imma need smth and guess i shoot my shot with the c3. c2 is not available in stores here anymore. much more expensive but i hope its worth it and ill be very happy!
Excelent video, bro! It was really helpfull. I was thiking if I could get C3 or should go for g3 for more bright , but now im staying with c3 for sure .
Nothing makes Games & Movies POP like an OLED. I bought into an 65" LG B8 about 5yrs ago, and there's no going back. Just last month, I decided I wanted another to use as a Gaming PC TV/Monitor, went into buy the 42" C3 and left with the 48" as it was the same price. It's even better than my B8. Simply no comparison between LG OLEDs and the competitions anything.
I have a 65" c1, and thinking about getting a 42" c3 for pc gaming. and if my c1 ever breaks, I have my replacement lol (I have a 5 year warranty on it though).
They make the BEST TV’s and just all great products in general. WebOS is the best, best controller hands down, and their panels look incredible. My C1 is still like new with no burn in or any image retention. Wouldn’t use any other brand when it comes to TV. So true about dad gamers man lol. The 42” and 48” have the C1/C2 design the 55” and 65” have a different design. They all look sleek, but the 55 and 65 look extra sleek.
If you hate the ads so much why don't you just... turn them off? I admit I was shocked that it was a preference setting, but it is. Just turn them off.
It's strange, I have the C2 48" and it's literally almost a 3rd of the thickness of what I am seeing in your vid of the C3 42". not sure why that is. But yea the 48" is half the thickness of a cellphone. I would love to know why LG went this route on the smaller version of this screen.
have the LG 65 inc CX/10 the tv way thinner than the C3 the stand it self-weight around 65lbs+, now have the 65 in C3,big diff between the 2 CX darker and richer in color the C3 way brighter and vivid .The CX has little over 4000 hours with no burn in, so no worries about any new LC OLED from 4 years ago and to now about burn ins. These OLED's really made for sound bars in mind, the tv without sound bar sounds just as good, the one I have is the LG Sound Bar C SC9 3.1.3ch with IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Atmos - SC9S, a other good one is the S80QY or S75Q.
If you have any direct sunlight hit that tv throughout the day, you need to move that display. You will cause uneven premature wear on the display if set up this way.
Just buy the c2 42 inch they are exactly the same product more or less. Pluss the c2 is alot cheaper now I got mine for 920 pounds if you buy the c3 for 1400 or 1500 pounds you will be a bit disappointed as I don't think they are worth that type of money
in your other videos you mentioned you were an accountant by day and I was wondering have you used the C3 for spreadsheets and other office work? Does your macbook pro support hdmi 2.1?
I have a PS5 and that’s why I want to buy an OLED TV but my main uses are watching football (Soccer) games, sometimes movies and series. Now I’m considering getting an LG C2 because it has a big discount in my country, so my question is, is the OLED good for watching football games?
Just picked up a 65 inch at 500 off 2099 n then an extra 25% off from target. 1595 for thus tv. What a steal. Comes tomorrow. Can't wait to play ps5.. let's go
The coating is the best ever. Matte coating would diffuse any light over the bigger surface and make it look grey. Glossy chemical coating like this one shows sharp reflection but very dim. No effect on the black levels! and matte 3m diffusors also destroy sharpness up close
Just to recap then as of today 29 Aug '23 (my understanding of HDTV Test from Vincent) LG C2: you can disable ASBL via service menu (may void warranty); however, unwanted auto-dimming of dark scenes remains broken/bugged LG C3: you CANNOT disable ASBL via service menu; however, unwanted auto-dimming has been fixed via an LG issued software update Did I get this right?
JUST HEADING OUT TO GET THE 48, AND decided to see if anyone has done video gaming reviews with this display and found and liked your video. I built a new pc last month and was waiting to see if the lg oled was going to go on sale. it bounces between 100-200 bucks off right now at best buy. the system i built has the new 4070ti super that has HDMI 2.1 ports and this is the only reasonably priced tv that I has supports HDMI 2.1 inputs. can anyone tell me if when i hook my PC up to it that i can select, different rez rates? 1080, 1440 and I know it will support 4k input but there are still some new games that need huge GPU power to hit that 4k 70fps sweet spot. anyways any intel would be awesome heading to the store in about an hour to pick it up. I have been using my sony 46" as a gaming/ pc monitor since it was new in 2009. It was one of the first lcd's that had a gaming mode in a tv display.
When it starts, can it default to starting to a HDMI? I bought a amazon tv recently and no matter what device I plug in the TV always boots to Amazon profiles first. I hate that. I want to press power and the first thing I see be whatever is in HDMI 1.
BenQ halo! I use it in every single setup I personally wouldn’t go without. There’s loads more that are less expensive but may not give as good features like colour temp etc.
bro trust me never go with a samsung it will be your biggest regret. wouldnt say it if i didnt know what i was talking about and just caring that other people just listen beforehand.. ill never go with samsung again go for lg its far better especially in the long run
@@1337kaas source: multiple experiences ive made and many others. its what samsung is known for. not hard to find. but not my problem if somebody choses samsung cant say you werent warned
Anyone know if this tv has any vertical or horizontal banding while gaming? I had a roku qled tv and there was a noticeable horizontal band across the middle of the screen whenever any dark grey or dark colors are shown or when the game camera is moving up or down.
