This ToF sensor is nuts. It can do everything AR, Face ID, Portrait video, Vein id, Gestures.......... And it doesn't need other accessories like IR blaster and other things required for face Id. Just one camera that can do everything.

WOW! Good to see LG innovate now that a lot of phones are copying the wide angles cameras they popularized. The Screen being the speaker is terrific, I also like the second screen accessory, its like a more bigger dual screen mode. Can't wait to see what these can really extend to.
I think this's a smart move for LG but you know design sometimes convince people to upgrade to the newest phone and LG is not doing that but for the specs is great... I love watching your videos bro you make me laugh everytime 😁 Ghana all the way✌
I felt the same way... Really wish they did something with the design... When you buy something you want it to feel new not updated.... Still a dope phone but I'll probably buy the next one. Knowing LG it's definitely going to innovative

Nice of LG to keep the fingerprint sensor at the rear. I personally like that placement compared to having it under the screen. And phones these days are getting bigger. My puny hands can't catch up anymore. hahaha Nice upload as always!
Those air gestures are a big gimmick on the G8. By the way, you DO realize that the display only acts as a speaker for the calls when the phone is to your ear. It doesn't actually get loud enough to be used as one of the speakers for media playback. The Boombox mono speaker on the bottom does that, just like before.
People got it confused with bone induction. Bone induction relies of contact surface to pass on sound. Maybe u got confused. This screen itself actually do produce sound without needing contact to any surface. It also does induction.
@@sc9433 Other reviews said the screen technology on this phone isn't good enough to where it can function as a loud speaker yet. That's why the BoomBox speaker is still on this phone.

Why pay $800-900 for a just released phone? I just bought the V35 which has pretty much everything I want for half off via ATT. Just ordered it today, would rather pay $15 a month than $30 for just a slight upgrade to the 855 vs the 845. If I was going to pay full price it would have been an S10+, but I need a new tablet too which isn't going to be cheap either so went with the cheaper phone.

Bokeh video is nice!! Any other devices doing that now? The hands free thing is gimmicky at best, it needs alot more fine-tuning. I feel like this is going to be a useless feature that no one is going to use. Otherwise a great phone and great upgrade from the G7. At launch I'm sure it will be more money than it's worth, a couple of months down the road/mid year we'll see some good discounts and at a better price with more deals.

Lg has been going down for a while. They are doing great with TVs and appliances I think so I think they really don't care about the phone division as much.
@@BigBladeFan uh Wut! They have a niche market and just because you don't fall into that category doesn't mean their devices suck. Personality as an audiophile LG is my go to phone. Same goes to my friends who love taking and editing photos. LG dishes out amazing photos that aren't super auto Edited and that's major for them.
@@Numb_ lol these phones are not for a niche market I don't know what the hell your talking about. The Mate x and Galaxy Fold are for niche markets because not everyone so going to buy it. Also cameras are not good on LG phones and editing is not great. Samsung has its own dedicated version of Adobe Premiere Rush. LG phones are not doing great in sales get that through your head and don't be a fanboy especially over phones it makes people look like idiots.
