Eric - didn’t think you could disassemble a tv that size without fixturing it. You didn’t check to see what the LED issue was? Doubtful that all of those LEDs went out at the same time, so it appears to be a “common” power problem, unless the LEDs are all in series and the one that failed one did them all in (opened the circuit). Thanks for the detailed vid. How about an update on your Ioniq?
My understanding is that a few can be burned out and it will still work, but after that it will not work. I just don't have a way to fix individual LEDs and the strips come as a set.
They don't all go out at one time. They go out one by one over time after enough of them are out the tv can sense it and just shuts down. I tested the strips and could see which Leads were not working. So I replaced the strips and all is fine. BTW, that tv is still working fine.
