Hi Gary I forgot to include that, it's 67mm from the wall to the front of the tv, the tv is 45mm thick and the bracket just over 20mm

@@TellyDanCan you pls tell me what kind of your TV wall ? I have a tv wall that made by MDF with thickness 18mm. Can i install tv mount on it ? Is there any trouble ?

I’ve just used this video and the suggested wall mount. It was really helpful, thanks. One thing I’m struggling with is taking the TV off the wall again! But it’s the wall and feels secure so all is good!

Do you always fix the arms directly the back of TV or use spacers. I used spacers with the intent of not scratching /damaging the back plate on my LG G2 and the spacers indented the back plate with a ring where the spacer was. Does this happen if you mount the arms with no spacers?

I have mine on the mount of a tv stand but it sits too high because the mounting holes are low. Will a vesa extender work for this? I see people using them for wall mounts but not tv stand mounts.

We need to better figure out how far the LG C2 TV get's from wall , because LG use a big box behind that separate the TV more then others brands from wall , so no video from side is being seeing no where . TK

Damn, I hope that by the time I get one the next gen model will have thinner electronics panel in the back; the tv-wall gap is substantial.

The G2 sits tight on the wall and is designed for gallery hanging. This one has a larger gap because it is meant for either wall mounting or standing on an entertainment center.

Why do you drill before screwing the screw with a drill? Why don't just drill the screw right in without drilling first?

Drilling is always a good idea because at first, it lets you know whether or not you hit a stud or just drywall which then you can decide if you need an anchor for the drywall or if you can just screw into the stud. Drilling also helps prevent wood from cracking when you screw something into it.

You use a stud finder to find a stud, you dont predrill. You also dont need to predrill holes to screw into a 2x4

@@andreasjohnsen8236but always predrill a smaller size so that the bolt you actually use is still tight in the wood. Yes, if u don’t predrill the wood it will crack . Too much pressure
