Excellent tip, i manly use mine via an Apple TV box which i want to se at start up not the annoying home screen. Of all the TV's i have owned, i am still tweaking this one 3 weeks after buying it. Some settings such as Auto-Dimming can only be changed with the "Service Remote" which is a must buy, but used with caution

When I turn my C1 on, it turns the PS5 on, using HDMI control. Sometimes it will annoyingly turn the PS5 on if I go to the Home menu of the TV to change inputs if I didn’t want to use the PS5. I usually turn the TV on by pressing the Netflix button, then source button to stop it turning on the last device.

Thank you sir. Honestly, I never use the tv remote control. every media turns on the HDMI output and also the LG tv has the wonderful HDMI shortcuts.

Great tip brother, I am in love with my C3 55 inchezzz the what I like most from LG system is the very user-friendly OS, I returned back the SAMSUNG S90C bcz of the OS (a nightmare to navigate and make things setted up), I have an LG sounbar that goes on and off with the TV power automaticaly, what a great OLED!!!

You buy an LG tv, then as soon as you try and access the program EPG, you realise you made the wrong choice. It takes an age to load , not just at start up, which is really bad, but every time after that. LG just ignore the complaints which are world wide. I bought a 55 inch LG nano, for myself, and another for my girlfriend. They are the worst purchase I’ve made, have contacted LG, and they just haven’t got a solution to fix their garbage. Apart from the usual “ clear your cache” ( on a brand new tv) or “ we are working on it. Four years later…………still no solution. Crap product, and crap customer service.

Do you know if there is a way to select a manual input (HDM 1) for example so the tv defaults to that rather than the last input as that would be more useful for me so it doesnt turn on the PS5 and powers up the shield

I don't have power on menu under home settings. Rather there is a home auto launch toggle along with home promotion and content recommendation. Have set the home auto launch to off and this does the same thing. Atleast in this scenario the feature is available. But really annoying with companies like Samsung/LG etc have different menus for the same flagship TVs/Mobiles sold in different regions. Infact we pay more in our country due to currency TP and still at times don't get some features/menus. I have the G1 and on latest fw. To give perspective, My samsung s24u flagship doesn't support certain apps made by Samsung bcos I live in India. They don't charge me less for that device bcos I live there though. Highly irritating.
