Dude I’m about to buy another TV! Haven’t tried this yet but I’m pretty sure it will fix it. I am a perfectionist so I was about to pull the trigger on a $5000 TV lol
You just saved me so much money. I gave up a few months ago. Bought a bunch of Eeros Wi-Fi systems, bought a new Lg upstairs and was about to throw this TV away. Thanks so much 🙏
Man, you're a lifesaver. I have a 80 inch LG Smart TV that I've had for less than 2 years, and magically this morning it refused to connect to the Wi-fi and kept saying "error - password incorrect" when it was the right password. I tried this and BOOM, now its connected again and working. Huge thanks!
Thank you so much buddy, you don’t understand how frustrating this was since day one I bought this TV a year and a half ago. I’ve had to use my Xbox in order to use my apps, now I am able to stream all the apps on the TV thanks to you! Keep up the great videos and keep on boggin!!!!!
I think this resolved my issue! I had issues with my tv disconnecting for months. I had stopped watching tv in my living room because it was so frustrating. Thank you!
Absolute genius!!! I've been fighting this on my own and tech "support" nothing. I did every single trick. This took a couple minutes and fixed my problems. Youre the best
Unfortunately I have to do new mine sometimes twice a night a couple of times a week I don't know why LG does not see this video see the problems and send out a patch to fix this ere I will never buy an LG product again
I was literally going crazy trying to fix it myself without RU-vid help lol, but to this video i fix my problem within a minute or 2. Thanks so much, u definitely made a new subscriber. Wish i should off done it since last night but i guess im just stubborn like that lol. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! This issue has been driving us nuts for weeks. Looks like this worked perfectly! Yes we smashed the liked button, and the Subscribe button!
Dude, since day one I have had issues with mine. I did this, and for a full 24 hours it worked. Next day back to the same thing. My advice to anyone looking to buy a TV don't make it an LG it's a constant battle. The only other solution is taking it apart. Why spend hundreds on a TV you have to open the back and mess with wires? Do NOT buy LG
Good grief! All the other help videos don't tell you to go back and set the TV back to "set automatically" at the end. That finally fixed it. My dumb self has been switching back and forth between Canada and USA all morning but not setting back to "set automatically" since no one else does that step. Thank you so much.
We have been trying to fix our problem for the last 3 hours. We was giving up hope and I said let's just have 1 last look on RU-vid and we found tour video and fixed the problem in 3 minutes. You're a life saver
i know this is an older video,, but I have been going crazyyyy not having my TV work for about 2 weeks. THIS FIXED MY PROBLEM!!! thank you and i recommend everyone try this if your having this problem. Thank you so much
Ohhhh my goodness!!!!! You have saved me from buying a new tv!!! I had no idea why my tv wasn’t connecting!!!! This was literally simple to follow and it worked the first time for me. Thank you
After My wife spent over three hours with the idiots from xfinity trying to fix the issue, your video came like falling out the sky!, thanks 🙏🏼 for your help!!!
This is the first video I've seen that doesn't involve cleaning, or straightening cables. My issue seems to have started right after last software update about a month or two ago. Makes me think software more than hardware. Does it last more than 24 hours? I pulled the plug pressed the power button for 30 seconds, turned off quick start per LG troubleshooting yesterday, and this morning it's right back to no wifi again. Thanks
@@smashengineeringoffical You call the LG number I gave you and they send the parts to the technician who comes to your location to fix the tv. They set it all up on the phone while you are talking to them.
@@smashengineeringoffical LG orders them for you and they go to the technician who brings them with him to fix your tv. Sometimes it is a manufacturer's error and they have to fix it. That is what is going on here.
I just changed my 'Time and Date' changed it to manual instead of automatic. While on this page, towards the bottom half of the screen, it gives you an option for "Advanced Wifi Settings" select that and turn "ON" IP option. That ended up fixing my issue.
This definitely help me a lot. Solved all the problems I’ve been having with my LG SK8000PUA. The Tv is older, 7 years or more and this worked great and I didn’t lose any of my settings or apps. I know the video is 3 yrs old but it’s still helping people. Thank You!
Changing the location works for a short time, then the problem starts again. This is the second LG tv I have purchased and both of them had this problem right after the warranty excited. The latest one started acting up 2 weeks after the warranty expired, seems like a big coincidence to me.
@@MrElmeromero2009 non-techy here. I'm now going down that rabbit hole about opening the back of the TV. Because this has not fixed my problem (sad face)
The seriousness of this video is diametrically opposed to effeveness of the solution. What I wanted to say: it worked perfectly for my LG OLED C97LA. Thanks!
YAY! Brand new TV I was ready to take it back, not easy as I’m more than an hour from nearest Walmart. This fixed the issue….you're a genius! THANK YOU!
After following your instructions, my wifi connection wasn’t restored, so I decided to factory reset the TV. And boom, after 3 weeks of trying, wifi is back, I guess what you did helped because I factory reset it multiple times and it did not work, so thank you very much! Great video!
Thanks for this video saved me 450 dollars I was about to throw my lg tv been having issues for over 6 months thanks to this video I was able to fix it
Hey I have a lg tv and I'm having an issue where it says the wifi is off.. I can't find any way to turn it on. On a forum I was told the wifi card is bad, could you make a video of the wifi card please maybe what it takes to change or reset one. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS FOR ME AND EVERYONE ELSE WITH THIS ISSUE!!!
Ok ok no problem I'm wanting more content for the channel anyhow give me a little bit as christmas has everything crazy right now. But I'll get right on it!
It's weird but under by General settings I don't see a Quickstart, Location etc... But it started working again on it's own. Thanks for sharing. You are a genius.
Thank you so much for this video From last two days we are suffering from wifi connection problem in tv. Because of you it's solved in two minutes. Really thanks alot
Duuudeee I had my LG for 4 years and it just dropped the internet like a hot tamale and there would be no available networks showing . You are a lifesaver bc now it connected immediately
It worked for me 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 I did the first instruction, it didn’t work, so I had to unplug the TV, plug again and follow all the steps again and then it worked. Thank you so much for the useful content.
I wanted you to know that I called LG customer service and they are fixing it at no cost to me BECAUSE this is a system failure. The Customer Service rep will tell you that if you persist in your questions but he will not offer the fix until you actually ask if this is an identified problem with the unit. Please spread the word. They are sending a technician to my house and included the defective part to be replaced. The number is 1 800 243 0000.
@@smashengineeringoffical Thanks! I lost my temper and called LG customer service. It turns out that my model and several others has a systemic error and LG will fix if you ask specifically about your model. In my case LG 6300. They will send a repair man to your door with the part needed paid by LG. Just be patient and be sure to ask that question "Is it a systemic LG problem and do you pay to repair?" They do but they won't volunteer.
@@madeleine7411 Thanks for the phone #. Must be more well known than we thought. All I was asked for was a picture of the screen with the no wifi message and it's getting fixed on LG!
Never buy LG. You will not have this problem with other brands. If this fixes it it keeps resurfacing. Disconnecting is a never ending problem with LG TV's. After 6 months of fixing this over and over I finally fixed mine with a sledge hammer. I busted it up and sent it back to LG. Whenever I get into a conversation with anyone about a TV I tell them about all I have gone through with LG. They have wasted my time and money. I never had this problem with any other TV.
This fixed my issue. Thanks very much. LG support was worthless. They wanted to charge me to send out a technician from 100 miles away. Pathetic!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much!!! After trying for hours to fix my LG Wi-Fi without success. I found your video and followed your instructions and wow got it to work!
Man, can't believe i could even fix my 49 inch LG TV with just watching at a video online. Wow, amazing man, fuxking amazing. Big ups and God bless bro
Saved my 75 inch LG from the trash guy and from my husband’s sledgehammer! 🙏 Literally tried alllllllll the unplugging of everything, and nothing worked ! Unplugging the tv for 2 days, still wouldn’t work until your video !! 🙏
This was so easy…thank you! Been having trouble for more than two years. Ignored it by using a fire stick but now that I might want to sell it, it’s good to know it works!
Thank you Thank you I purchased a 75 inch Lg tv this past July thank you sooo much I was able to follow your instructions perfectly thank you your instructions were so clear you saved me from panicking
We were about to return our tv when I decided to do a quick search as a last ditch effort to resolve the issue. I found this video and it saved the day. Thank you so much for figuring this out and helping so many people!
Thanks! I’ve been fighting this since I went to streaming. We initially thought it was our internet but everything else in the house was connecting fine; and then we thought it was our streaming service, but I could connect on my laptop and cell phones just fine. Working fine so far after following your instructions, we’ll see if it maintains. We have been past frustrated! Thanks
Thank you so much bro ! I was about to call up my cable provider and rip them a new one till I realized that it was my LG tv, then when it did not want to connect on it's own, I was about to put my foot through it till I saw this video and it absolutely fixed my problem.
