I show you how to fix a black screen or screen won't turn on on the LG Stylo 6. If you tried every step and you screen is still not turning on then try every step 3, 4, 5, even 6 more times. By the end of the video most of you will have a working screen again. Let me know which step or steps worked for you. Like if it worked and dislike if no go so everybody can see. Good Luck!

@@commander14 I used the tapping down volume a couple times and on button consecutively tapping and then a long hold on it. And it started up.

I went through all of his suggestions: nothing worked. Lastly he suggested placing the phone in the freezer for 10-20 minutes. I wasn't crazy about that idea , but I had nothing to lose. When I took out my phone, my screen woke up with a message, "Your device is too cold to charge." Once it warmed up I found that I already had a full charge and was off and running. THANK YOU!!! That was truly amazing.

Your first suggestion: Pressing both buttons at the same time & holding did the trick! Really appreciate the short, easy-to-follow steps & your taking the time to make the video. What did we ever do without RU-vid? (And I have to say, while I didn't need to put it in the freezer, I was intrigued - why in God's name would anyone ever think of doing that?) Cheers, kind sir!

The funny thing is, I put it in the freezer at work, because the alarm was going off, and I couldn't turn it off. I just wanted to keep it quiet, but maybe that helped fix it.

Thank you so much!! I was so worried my phone died and I spent big money on it. I only had it for less than 3 months. I guess we aren't the only ones. Maybe we should send a notice to LG to give us better phones. I had an LG Stylo 4 before this one and it lasted me 3 years. You are a life saver!!

Geez I was so angry I was calm when my phone went black and unresponsive but was still backlit, so I knew it was on. You are magical man. My phone was up and running with that first forced restart but I stayed and watched the whole video out of morbid curiosity. Some of these tactics are just next level wtf lol. THANK YOU!

Tapping method worked for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I thought It was finished! Woke up to alarm going off and a black screen. I couldn't make the alarm stop and I had 3 alarms set to go off within 30 minutes! Had to call myself from another phone to stop the alarms. Thank God my tablet was working and google found your video. Amazing!

Thanks man I've had my phone for 5 years now it's a LG 4 i have 1 hair line crack in the screen. It just turned off when i went to open a poker app and it would not say it was charging i could not get it to work i even tried to take out the battery which is difficult with the LG 4's. You got me up and working again so grateful there are so many pictures of my kids i don't have backed up. I will subscribe 👍

Thank You SO MUCH! The method that worked for me was holding the down volume button down while holding the power button simultaneously! My 3 year old has a LG Stylo 5 and suddenly the screen went black while the red light blinked in the top right corner of the phone. I knew her phone was charged but idk how this happened, although she does download apps everyday and I'm constantly deleting apps to make room for new apps, maybe one of the apps she downloaded had something to do with the problem! It works! Appreciate your help!

HI I have a Stylo 6 and last night when I plugged it in the normal charging icon appeared not the fast charging icon which I though was weird. this morning when I woke up it was at 2 percent and then powered down and now it wont charge or turn back on at all. Im pretty upset about this because ive only had the phone for about a month or so. Im hoping you can help me out.

Thank you , thank you and thank you again. My phone is only a few months old and this is 3rd time not turning on and it doesn’t charge unless I prop it in a specific angle and I went back to where I bought it and they’re not carrying LGs anymore. And not offering anything but the name of a repair shop. I went and store is closed down and boarded up. Can’t be without my phone. I have things on it for my hearing aids. You saved me until I can deal directly with LG. Kudos.
