Bought the same model with matching dryer. Can’t tell you how disappointed I am. The “normal” setting dispenses about an inch of water and I swear when the cycle completes, there are still clothes that didn’t even get wet. It should be called the “not normal“ setting. I have to use the “deep wash” setting and use the “add water“ button at times. I guess I’m just not “normal“. Also, there is no way to change the agitation setting. I would like it to agitate more aggressively.
@@twinsmm1 I ended up canceling my order and getting a 4.9 cu GE profile with an agitator from Home Depot. It is a bit bigger that I expected so I have to accumulate laundry or it would get unbalanced . Other than that it has been good 👍🏻
Hello, there. It's important to note that newer washing machines, including high-efficiency models, are designed to use less water while still providing effective cleaning results. This is to promote water conservation and energy efficiency. However, if you feel that the water level is too low to clean your clothes thoroughly, there are a few things you can try. First, make sure you're loading the machine properly, allowing enough space for the clothes to move freely. Additionally, using the appropriate amount of detergent and selecting the right cycle for your load can also make a difference. If you have any further concerns or need assistance, please feel free to reach out to us privately on Facebook or X (Twitter) via @LGUSSupport. We're here to help you and appreciate your understanding. ^Sam

Hello! Absolutely, the LG Top Load Washer is able to be used without a lid. There are, however, some things to keep in mind. The water will splash out more easily if there is no lid, and clothes may become less clean. It's also important to avoid overloading the machine, as this can cause problems with the washing cycle. Furthermore, it is critical to choose the correct settings for your load size and clothing type. Otherwise, you could get wet or damaged items. In general, using a washing machine without a lid is possible, but caution is advised. Visit our LG Support page for more information: spr.ly/6052PyBei. ~Rita
@LGUSASupport That wasn't the question. To answer, yes you can open the lid. Hit the pause button to open and then again to resume wash after you close the lid.

Hello! It looks crazy, but the washer is performing correctly; this is just a high spin cycle using our deep cleaning WaveForce™ technology--rapid drum movement and powerful water jets to deliver outstanding washing and rinsing performance, and all while staying gentle on clothes. Please be sure to let us know if you ever have any questions or concerns, we're always happy to help! ^Ian
Hi, Karen! Our top load washers don't have a reset button, but we'd be more than happy to walk you through resetting your unit. Please make sure the device is powered off, then unplug your washer from the wall. While the device is unplugged, you'll want to hold the start/pause button for 5 seconds, and finally you'll plug your washer back in. We've attached a link with more information below; please be sure to let us know if this helped! spr.ly/6054OV9vQ ^Ian
It would be our pleasure to assist you further, Karen. Just send us a private message on Facebook or Twitter via @LGUSSupport or call our customer support line at (800) 243-0000, and we would be pleased to help. -Cazz
great explanation but I DONT BELIEVE it when you say you dont need alot of water to clean clothes. Our samsung NEVER loaded enough water. I would look through the glass and see some clothes stuck on top and never make it down into the center. That said I see the LG is well reviewed. I just hope I dont regret my decision buying one.

THEY DON'T WORK! My mother worked for an appliance department at Sears and while at the seminar at her job, she noticed people walking away when they realized these HE washers don't really work very well and clothes weren't getting clean. If you want a washer, either buy a front loader, or an old school top loader with agitator that grandmas and grandparents had years ago, or save your money and buy a SPEED QUEEN. Do NOT waste your money on this top loader HE washer, especially the ones that don't have no agitator and rely on this pathetic useless wash plate. This is exactly why I miss my grandfather's old Kenmore set from the 1970s, and he had his for years and refused to get rid of it.
