I no joke have the same LG TV but in the 45 inch model and the HDMI ports have broken off for me as well. You’re much smarter than I am so it looks like I might just have to be in the market for a new TV 😢

Hello, I’ve checked out a bunch of your videos. Thanks for the concise content! I have a Samsung QN65Q6DRAFXZC and I believe the problem to be the main board as there is heat evidence on the plastic back panel of TV. Back lights work when cable to main board is unplugged. Heatsink is quite warm too. However, is there a sure fire test for the main board before I purchase new board and display ribbons? Much thanks!

One question: what gear are you using? what magnifieing camera/microscope is that? Which type of flux is best for this type of connectors? unfortunatelly my 2010 LG TV hdmi's are broken as well... thx

This has literally happened to mind on Friday took back of and found the 3 hdmi ports inside. Mines a lg 50lf580v near sure yours the same. Mines doesn't need cleaned up so if I just go ahead and solder will it be OK. Thanks.

Hi buddy if I needed a new port what should I look for under I have LG TV the motherboard you have looks identical to mine but my pins are knackered on the port. Can you help :D

It is hard to solder without a scope but it can be done with lots of flux and raise the temperature of the soldering iron

what type of hdmi port is this i ordered some but the legs are flush so they dont fit, do you have a link to the proper replacement hdmi port thanks

the only way to tell is to take a picture and look at some online they come with many different types it might help to have a box of assorted hdmis to choose from
