LG TV - How to Fix HDMI No Signal Error 

Pushing on the HDMI port "because it can become detached from the motherboard" may actually damage your TV. DO NOT DO THIS. If you suspect that this is the case, get the TV serviced.

Wow. I cannot believe that unplugging and pressing the power button method worked for me! I just got an LG QNED TV and i was shocked to see no more HDMI picture from my connected laptop! I really thought about calling customer service for a replacement. Phewww!! Thanks a lot for these tips!

I turned on my PS5 but had no picture, only the HDR came up in the corner of the screen, so I took all HDMI cables out, turned off TV at the plug and pressed power button on my LG TV for a long 30 seconds. Just plugged everything back in and all works great again! Thanks 🙏

Lifesaver!!!! OMG….it just wouldn’t work like it was set up to do. Had a Gen 2 Fire Cube connected to LG TV a year old. Was fine when went to bed. Then next day got the No connection message with a short message to reconnect by changing the output!!!! Did NOT a FIX….nightmare begins, right? Tried everything ,reconnected the WiFi….turned off tv,unplugged,used Fire cube ( this keeps all our apps in HDMI 2 ). This video worked…..God Bless….it now works . We have Netflix, Prime Video, and don’t usually use other apps…was set up for use with voice command, and could use the Fire Cube remote to lower or raise sound as connected to a sound Bar. I got a migraine…last night…

Thank you so much for this video. None of these tips worked for me but it was very helpful to rule out the TV as the problem. I finally realized that my Mac mini was not responding. I manually pressed the power button on the back of it and finally got rid of the No Signal error.

The weirdest thing about this is that the ‘switch the HDMI cable’ trick solved this issue for me when my PS5 gave me a no signal error. Even when the exact same HDMI cable plugged into the same TV and a different input worked fine. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I bought my 60" LG 3D TV at a thrift store with nfg HDMI inputs (didn't know that). Read online about baking the main (input) board. I've now done that 5 times, the last time lasted nearly 5 years before doing it again this morning. 385°F for 8 minutes, then leave the board in the shut-down oven so that it will cool slowly (half an hour +/-). Really works, I promise.

Thank you for this post - When I turn on my ps5, the home screen shows up on the LG Home Dashboard(embedded screen within tv screen) but the hdmi port is not highlighted in the AUX menu. When I try to hit the Go button(to hdmi/ps5) from the LG Dashboard screen it just goes black. Any ideas? Thank you!

Didn't work for me. My computer says the sound is connected but the screen remain "no signal" across all hdmi ports. It's conmected to the internet via direct cabel and recognises this, even did a software update, but I can't find my way online either. I don't have a set-top box, but as far as I'm aware I shouldn't need that if I simply use the tv as a screen for my laptop via hdmi?

But what if the "input button" doesn't work! I have my remote on my phone and the original as well, but the button is just "silent" no heptic feedback!? I tried resetting settings, and all other things you offered, but nothing changed!

No luck. Just bought a new smart tv. A new $60 HDMI cord. I paid to have it all set up but they were in such a rush 1 guy was reversing the van while the free to air channels loaded. I've read a million articles, watched videos, refferred to the manuel. All i get is check input connection. ARC is on & HDMI selected. Fkd if I know what to do now. I'm beyond disappointed

I keep getting an NG code on the rf/HDMI test. My Roku has been freezing up and I have to unplug the tv. It is fine when running apps on the tv from home, but not from the Roku. I was going to try my PS5 to see if it's giving be issues too.

I'm trying to connect my computer to my LG tv with a VGA HDMI adapter and everything seems to be working. I plug the hmdi end into the tv and it says HDMI 1 available. But when I go onto HDMI 1 it says no signal. Can you help me out please I can't seen to figure it out. I have also tried the other HDMI slots on my tv and they don't work either.

None of these worked. I can SEE my PS5 in the SMALL window of the ALL INPUTS menu. I can see the PS5 screen, hear the sound and even use the controller. The problem is when I exit the ALL INPUTS menu, it just shows me a picture of an HDMI cord with the CORRECT slot number showing. So how do I make HDMI slot selection show on FULL screen after exiting the menu?? 🤷🏻‍♀️

LG TV's are the biggest piece of junk I've ever bought. HDMI inputs don't work, the internet cuts off constantly to the point where I had to buy a stream stick for a smart TV!
