So got an LG tv with no HDMI input detected. Tried the hairdryer treatment worked for a bit. So here i have a simple solution that anyone can try without opening up the TV. HDMI to RCA Converter

Thanks, Our LG TV is a little over 3 yrs old and one of the HDMI ports is broken. So many people are having this problem. What is wrong with LG TV and their HDMI Ports? This is a huge problem. Why do LG TVs have this problem of not recognizing the HDMI ports. Right now we have one of the 3 ports gone but I am told the other two will soon follow,. I like your idea better than the hair dryer or baking the board in the oven.

It just bad build quality i would say. Load of people are experiencing this. This video is the easiest and probably the safest way to bypass the BAD HDMI ports

Hi dawg I bought that adapter like u for my LG tv to try bypass hdmi and that not working either have Apple TV plugged to the hdmi with those 5 leads don’t want use oven yet I paid 80£ for tv don’t want spend anymore now

I've noticed my HDMI connectors feel unusually hot when I unplug them. Shocking that listening to forums this has been going on since at least 2015. My TV is only a couple of years old, if that. I won't buy another LG after this.

better specify "female" converter plugs.... i didn't think to verify when i saw the converter on amazon.

So my problem is that my laptop is connected to my LG TV via a HDMI cable and it says there's no signal but when I plug in my DVD player to the TV it all comes up fine so I don't think it's a hardware issue. Any ideas?

wow thanks for this video! My HDMI just went out today and I found your video. Most video show where they take the board out and what not and I have no clue on how to do any of that. I'm glad I found your channel. Is your TV still working with this method? I actually only use it for my laptop to look at movies on my TV.

Hi did the bypass and it worked beautiful !! 3 weeks in I'm getting the no signal again, and all the cables are still in place. So is my TV toast all together now? So bummed out

I have a Samsung LED tv & done this method as it is but the components shows only 480p. Is there any chances to get 720p or 1080p qualities. My tv does support full HD but this component converter doesn't provide that.

Yes it should work but you need to make sure you are using the complete component connection and cables.

Hmm the av jacks also. Suggests it's more than just hdmi controller. Could be an issue with the motherboard in general. I am just guessing though

I don't really know about a bell box. But if Hdmi is a standard there which I suspect it is then the same process should work

Absolutely really sad to see your videos and even more so to see the solutions. Is this a vinyl record player that you want to go analog bypassing the hdmi. The simple thing is to try cleaning the hdmi ports and do plug in and out at both the ends and leave the set switched of for some hours minimum. I wont mention the liquid here. Ofcourse if this dosent help then you need technical support. Not hair dryer

I appreciate your tips, but your presentation is a little long winded with repetition. Some of the steps went without saying. People will have to do their own moves when getting down to it, so you only needed to get them in the general direction (without the specifics of the color of chores into where).
