Are you saying this phone is meant to target a specific gender? Honestly I don't think so. It has a good design. That doesn't mean it's only meant for girls. Anyway, maybe European and Korean markers are different. But in the North America, we usually want a nice looking phone that's all.
Been using the phone for 8 months now. Absolutely in love with it. People go gaga when they see the phone's look. I've got the exact same colour and this is the best comparetivly. For multi tasking it is an awesome device and you don't have to dent your wallet to get his beauty.
We should get away from naming the processor every time we review these Android phones. If it is powerful enough who cares if it isn’t the very latest one.
Processors do more than just push around pixels, each one has different things it supports, like Ai , photo/video processing, high screen refresh rates, 5G..etc... Saying, oh, everything is powerful enough who cares , is a bit naive
Hint for loudspeakers: when playing Yt video press side volume knob and then touch the slider on the screen and then downside of that slider touch circle and here you can raise more speaker volume.
@@AkashYadav-kp6hi On the other hand it's much more interesting than all the black/white phones. I kind of got bored with smartphone colors already so seeing this LG or Note 10 etc is really refreshing.
I don't know if I bought a faulty device. I bought the t-mobile variant. However, the battery isn't as good as I thought. It looses 5 percent of battery with sparse browsing within an hour. And that's with extended battery saver on, and brightness set to 12%. Is this normal battery drainage for the phone? Did anyone notice this when theirs was new?
@@NethirOsman Sony cannot and should not downgrade to LG levels. I have an LG G6 and oh man, I would love to ditch it before the first dime to drop on the floor. The only good part about it is the 3.5 mm jack and the audio quality. This is the worst phone I ever owned that deteriorated super quickly. My 2009 Nokia E71 still works and runs at the same speed. My Lumia feels slower now but doesn't feel lethargic. I have had instances of my G6 just ignoring anything I do on the screen and freezes for some time. 3 years and its on its path of being dead.
I've owned Moto, Blu and Samsung phones. I now have a LG V60 ThinQ 5G as my main phone. I love it. I would consider this phone if I needed another one.
My friend is due for an upgrade. His LG G6 is on it's death bed and I am trying to convince him to get the V60 ThinkQ 5G or go with a flagship Samsung phone. Only problem is he is cheap as fuck and is terrified of spending money. 🤣
@@DeadmanInc336 Well he will have to buy a $150.00 something or other then. Lol. I did for a long time. I figured that this time I might as well spend the $600.00 + since flagships from most companies are $1000.00 to $1400.00.💸
The 8mpix of ultrawide camera is some kind of joke. LG G5 had 8mpix. LG as a pionieer of ultrawide should continue with higher resolution, wider field of view and less distortion. Pitty that other brands are way ahead of LG
@@kenbee1957 There is a political history that involves changes in its naming as late as 2016 that might make calling it by its full name important to those who live there.
A shame they didn't include the quad DAC in this model, and the 765G. It would have been a well rounded premium mid-ranger and I would have probably bought it. Also LG needs to get rid of that teardrop notch with thicc bezels around it. It's getting pretty bad at this point, and meantime they are shipping notchless entry-level budget handsets with punch hole selfie cameras, so why they don't do that for their mid-range/flagship line, is anyone's best guess.
For sd865 on any phone you have to increase your budget which Pixel and LG doesn't want as they are very expensive chips. But should have included quad dac.
You didn't mention at any time in this Video that this LG Velvet is 5G. It has 8 GB of RAM and it comes with 128 GB of storage. That 765 has AI/ML that is definitely flagship like specs. It's comparable to the iPhone 11's NPU.
Well 765G is definetely not a flagship CPU, more like mid-range. It's around the level of the flagship Snapdragon 845 from early 2018. Also this phone comes with only 6GB of ram here in Europe. It's priced around 550usd here so it fits perfectly into the mid-range class. It's really surprising to watch all those American reviews referring to this phone as if it was supposed to be a flagship. It's not, it's just priced really high in the US for some reason. Thats how we, europeans, usually feel about smartphone prices, most of the time they are much cheaper in the US, this LG is priced exactly the other way round.
This phone is a perfect example for Americans of how Europeans see smartphone prices. Normally, phone that costs 550usd in the US costs around 700usd in Europe. This LG is another way round. 550usd in Europe, 700 in the US xD I don't really know why...
Hey, how about the 5G performance ? How fast is the internet with 5G. I like to know. Please review that asp! Can you make a phone call under water and for how long will it stay waterproof? You can do it!
The curv of the screen corners are a different radius than the phones actual corners it looks odd and from the front there are $300 phones on gearbest with slimmer bezels, and 1080p and 60hrz still? A second rate camera setup ? $700? Lol...
$700... did he just said $700?!..... sadly after that, the entire video is bla bla bla.... who's paying that kind of money for a midranger? LG has lost it...
It's a really interesting phone exactly like motorola edge, is hard not getting an iphone x or s10 but i want to leave the social status flex and try new phonez
@@maxislate5741 Moto edge is an appealing option... But I'm already into Samsung's "ecosystem".. But if you got your Velvet at $500.... That's a good deal.
@@beautifulbeasts9115 I don't say this alot but....if I had a Formula One car, I'd overlap Hamilton.....while driving backwards.....and making a TikTok
Stopped the video 5:38. I own an LG phone and I swear never to purchase one again. Support, Updates and overall feel is not as good as some others may give. I briefly owned Note 9 before passing it to my family member to come back to my LG and Boy!! I don't like my lethargic LG. Not even 1 bit. They just don't know how to make phones anymore. What I like is the audio quality in the earphones, that's it.
