When my family got our first front load well over 11 years ago, let’s just say our clothes were damaged. Now we own the 300cw top loader and that thing is the best. Thanks LG
I can sort of relate to your story, but instead of large holes, sometimes the clothes couldn't get clean with my old Whirlpool front load washer, and sometimes not even rinse properly. Now with the LG top load I got 2 years ago, it made things better and easier for me and my family!
@@ethoshrimp8190 you see the thing is 7 years back, LG had a recall on the waveforce models and because of angry LG owners, no one is really paying attention to how well they do now. For example, the wt7305 (agitator model), old speed queen owners like it more, which is an amazing sign. They did good on the models this year
Put the water on top and then have a internal hidden door that opens automatically so the washed clothes drop by gravity to the bottom dryer and then the dryer starts. That would be ultimate innovation to avoid time switching the clothes!!
@@thesouringgentleman yeah your big family is the kind that needs 2 washer units minimum. My sister would just take the dog beds to the laundromat though to dirty their machines rather than possibly clog the ones at home.
In deference to Simple Inverso and his simple minded comment, I have found a way to remove the machine from the styrofoam shipping base that does not require 4 body builders and a set of suction cups for installing large windows. You will need a "real" appliance dolly with a ratchet strap. Place the dolly at the rear of the machine,(between the foam block and the machine legs) strap it securely to the dolly and tip the machine back carefully until it clears the styrofoam block that supports the tub during shipping (roughly 45 degrees).
We're stumped and need a video showing how to change over the gas dryer to propane. My husband is a licenesed plumber--we have the correct oriface--but, do we have to take the whole unit apart to do this???
Purchased a NEW LG Washtower...arrived / installed Jan.17th. The gas dryer seems to only fire up when I tap the back of the dryer. Confirmed that infighter is not functioning without banging the back side of the dryer.....this is unacceptable. STILL as of today LG has not provided us with ANY service to fix, repair, replace or refund. MANY Calls, Text, Emails from us have been sent to LG....and yet here we sit with NO SUPPORT. NO DRYER. Any suggestions ??
I just got a new LG washtower with gas dryer, but we have a propane line running in the house. I was told that a plumber can make the conversion, but he doesn't know where the orfice is located. There is no manual for the conversion and LG rep on the phone is just sending me videos from RU-vid that have nothing to do with their own product. Has someone successfully converted the gas to propane so far? My plumber is trying to take of the panel, but is it in the front or the back? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Has anyone been able to find out where the dryer vent is located on these? I want to have it installed in the proper spot in my new house. So far all I am reading is the installation manual is shipped with the appliance. My builder wants the specs. Any info would be appreciated!
I asked LG and they have not yet replied so I asked a retailer to measure the display model(pulling the mammoth thing out of the display enclosure). . The side vent is 41.75 “ from floor and 22” to centre measuring backward from the front of the machine. The rear vent is at the same height and offset to left from centre when facing the back of the machine, sorry but I don’t have that exact distance You will need to allow for space for water hoses in back of course.
I’m soooo freaking mad! My washer drain hose is half the length shown here. If I can’t find an extension I’ll have to return the unit. And yes I did try pulling it out further but it’s out as far as it will go.
Hey there. Lets work together to find a way for you to use your washer in the place you installed it without having to move it around. Have you found any extension drain hoses on your own? We would like to help you find a tailored solution that will allow you to use your washer with peace of mind. Please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport with your contact information. We're always here to help. ^ Diego
I want the INSTALLATION manual (not Owner's Manual or User Guide) in advance of my Washtower being delivered as I have to have both plumbing and electrical done so that installation is easy. I called LG and they told me the installation manual is shipped with the appliance...but that does not help me get plumbing/electrical done in advance. With pandemic, plubmers and electicians are booking 6 to 8 weeks in advance and I would like all to be in place. They told me there is no way to send me the installation manual in advance. Does anyone out there have one they can share??
Exactly! I am having the unit professionally installed but in a location where no exterior vent hole exists. BEFORE install, I need the precise location (the center of the vent duct) in order to drill that hole so that it will precisely line up with the vent duct on the machine during install.
Hey there! We definitely want to take a look into your Washtower and see what happened. Please send us a private message on social media using @LGUSSupport with your model, serial, and phone number. We look forward to hearing from you and improving things. ~TammyJo
Hi there, great question. A 3-wire power cord. Please see the link for further information: tinyurl.com/465s4p9b. We're here if you have any other questions,~Tanisha
Hello! Unfortunately we do not have customer service on RU-vid. Someone on our FB or Twitter will happily answer this for you (LGUSSUPPORT). Thanks! ^Emma
Hi, there. We appreciate your inquiry regarding this matter. The LG Washtower requires both a 240V outlet for the dryer and a separate 120V, 60Hz grounded outlet for the washer. We hope this helps. ^Mau
Hey there, we really appreciate you letting us know about this. We're more than happy to help you out with this issue. If it's not too much trouble, could you please let us know what steps you've already taken to try and resolve it? We're eagerly awaiting your response. ^Anthony
