How did you get the drum light to stay on during the entire wash. please explain step by step. I have this machine but the light does not stay on during the wash.
I have the 5500, set, it looks the same but is smaller. And costed much less. These machines look great, very sleek, the app works well, the menus can be set up the way I like them, the one knob idea works well I think, the turbo 360 feature I think actually gets things clean, some new high efficiency washers do not, and have dry spot issues, also the steam in the dryer for light soiled clothes or like a bath towel refresh, or the comforter, save a lot over a whole wash cycle. Happy with the lg set. And love the looks of it also.

I have a question: what is your experience with AI Wash? I did a load that I thought was clean, and it added more soap and 15 mins more after sensing the soil level the second time, and then rinsed 4x (!) before spinning. Another load, I thought it was dirty, it washed 10 mins, and after less than 30 it was finished...?
Hi. I don't really use AI wash. But it happened to me in the short cycle wash when I washed my dog's bed. It took an hour before it gets done. It was a heavy load.
Just wanna ask... does the washer have a display for current rpm especially during spin cycle? And we can see the rpm increasing and decreasing during the cycle...
Hi! I'm not familiar about the rpm or revolutions per minute of this washer. Interesting though. This washer has many new features and I'm still learning from it.
No, it doesn’t. What I don’t like is that the user’s manual doesn’t have the rpms for the different settings or the temps for the water. Not even in the appendix. It is all generic names (low, hot, etc)
I keep the door of all the front loaders I have ever had (6x), wide open as well as the dispenser drawer. This washing machine, like I believe all new LGs, has a small magnet that allows to keep the door just ever so slightly ajar to allow the air move freely inside the drum.
Hi! For 2 months I've been using this washer, I am very happy. It saves laundry detergent and softener because the it has auto dispense. It also saves water. Love the short cycles and it cleans very well with the clothes/fabric esp with the turbo wash if you have tough stains. I've learned that if you are going to wash bath or dining rugs wash it with the turbo wash to avoid unbalanced during spin. This washer is amazing. It will tell you when tub clean is needed etc. Definitely we will buy this again.
I don’t understand American washers. First of all why is the rpm option in words like how much rpm is medium or high? Its a lot easier if it’s in numbers!
