Hi, I'm having a problem with my lg front load washing machine not draining, I've done all the diagnosis, kinky hose, filter check, and even removed the pump and tested it and it's perfectly working. I'm now stuck as I have done all the troubleshooting regarding non drainage.
Thanks for making this video! Is it normal to have about 3 cups of water remaining in the hoses after draining or should it be completely empty? Meaning no water should be coming out of the drain hose by the filter? My pump felt good resistance and not loose.
So I'm like 90% sure that the thing supposed to be rotating mentioned at 1:31 is not there 😅 but we've been able to run cycles just fine. Shouldn't it be showing an error? Or is it possibly not even in the newer LG Front Load washers? If cycles have been going without it, what damage could come of the washer and where? Sorry for literally all the questions in the world but this is probably one of the first videos I completely understand what I'm supposed to be looking for 😅😅
Hello, my drain trap is always very full after every wash and it is soapy water. That seems unusual no? With my previous washer I only had to empty it every two months and this one it is every wash.
There is no water coming out of the mini drain hose except for very small amount of black stuff. But there was a lot of water that came out of the filter when removed. If the hose is clogged, how do you unclog it?
Hi Mary, thanks for watching and thanks for the question. It looks like you need to uninstall the drain pump assembly and rinse it. Try it and see if it helps
My conbi washing machine stop drain from main drain pipe every week Mine dose not drain water from mini drain but when I opened the filter box water rushing out a lot 😢 after this drain wetting entire floor mopping and mopping floor. After this its works nomaly. Called repair man twice and he said to me its nomal i said to him its not nomal i try to explain he didn't listen to me and left . I still have this problem what can I do ? Do I have to keep flood my laundry every week?
I have a question. So my drain pump is fine the filter was really dirty and it drains water out of the front drain tube fine but water does not come out the back like it's supposed to. My question is what is the reason it does not drain out the back like it's supposed to
@@techvillappliancerepair3825 Thanks for the reply. You were right it was plugged up at the junction where the drain from the motor hooks up to the drain tube going out of the machine
Hi I have2.5 buckets of water in my washing machine (I scooped it out), checked the drain pump and it looks fine and still not working. the OE keeps showing. This sucks. \i have only had it for 2 years. is there anything else. I can't get behind it to check the hose as it is in a tight space. Any suggestions
My washing machine works fine but the water in the bottom smells like rotten eggs when I drain the bottom. Even after just a couple days and makes my laundry room stink. Also, it makes my clothes smell musty.
Hey all, If the drain pump is not working, would the washer section of the machine still pump water out the drain hose? I'm trying to troubleshoot my own issue. Thanks.
Hi Luis, thanks for watching and thanks for the question. There is no way to actually test the drain pump itself. What you can do is to run just drain and spin cycle on your washer. If water is fully drained out, washer sounds as usual and cycle completes as normal then your drain pump is good. Let me know if it helps.
One way to check it is to let the machine fill up with water then put it in Spin Cyle mode and open up the drain tube and if water comes out with pressure when the pump is running then the pump is fine
Hi Amy, thanks for the comment. It might be the issue with the parts itself because typically if we install the new pump it lasts at least 2-3 years given that the washer is used gently and not used 3 times a day.
if the problem is intermittent could it still be the pump? user says in full cycle sometimes it does not fully drain or cloths are wet, on quick cycle could not replicate the issue
Hello Farjad, thanks for watching and thanks for the question. It is still can be the issue with the pump itself. Pump can overheat on a longer cycles and then malfunction. So check the filter first to make sure it is not clogged and if it is clean then the pump if the root cause of the issue. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
