Thank you. Great review. Purchased today at Lowe’s for just under $2700 for both washer and dryer after tax and delivery and install and all the install goodies. Didn’t opt for the extended warranty, never do. We’re excited to try the Turbo and see all the different spin modes. I just hope it lasts >5years. All that technology is more stuff to break. Glad to see this year old post with no complaints of breaking!

I got the LG 3900 front load washer 3 months ago to replace my old 15 year old top load. My clothes have never been cleaner. I'm amazed that it cleans clothes so much better than my old washer and uses far less water to do it. I never realized how dull my white towels had gotten until I washed them in the LG. They are bright white and look like new again. Front load washers are far better than top loaders . I highly recommend LG front load washers and Tide Pods.

Bought a front load LG like 5 years or 3 years ago and it was constantly broke. But that was a few years ago and sometimes models have flaws that get fixed. Dad of 4 and we go thru the laundry. Maybe 12 loads a week. So thanks for the review.

I just ordered this set on Costco.. The ones I kept planning to buy kept going out of stock/disappearing so I just said why not and ordered this set.. OK.. So it might be overkill for a single guy but I have king size bedding and stuff. Great review.

This has been the best review I've found so far. I have an older Whirlpool Duet Steam washer and dryer set. In fact they will be 13 years old in February 2021. Halloween day my dryer gave me an error code. We researched it and it's about $200.00 for the replacement part. The videos seem easy for us to do, but something else could stop working due to their age. I've never had one problem at all until this happened. We decided to start looking at replacing both the washer and dryer as I wanted a matching set. This set seemed to have more of the features that I like in my old set. I have a few questions that Home Depot couldn't answer, so I'm reaching out to you to see if you can help me. 1-My old set allows me to add a garment at anytime in the washer. I push pause, it unlocks, I add what I forgot, push the start button and it continues. 2-My old set has a reminder light and tone it makes when it goes through 30 washes to run the clean washer setting. I've always immediately run the clean washer with an Affresh tablet as instructed in my manual. It automatically resets and alerts me automatically in 30 more washes. I also wipe the seal and take out the compartment where you put the detergent, bleach, prewash and fabric softener, and I take it to my sink and thoroughly clean it. I have never encountered the smells I hear that others have. My clothes are always clean and they smell so good. I know this set has this cycle, but is there a reminder light that comes on to remind you to do this? It's not a deal breaker as I can always do this at the beginning of each month. 3-Does this washer have the turbo 360 wash with the five jets? That feature may only be availableon the ThinQ models. I'm definitely use to cleaning with steam in both my washer and dryer, so I'm glad this feature is on this set. My dryer has a hose that gives me steam in my dryer as well. I'm seriously considering this set especially after your review. Thank you for taking time to go over each feature and for showing the machines in action. Sorry for this being so long.

Thanks for the review. Do you have any mold issues? I read about mold in the soap tray and on the rubber door seal. I have gotten in the habit of removing the tray after each wash session and leaving the door open. So far there is zero mold and I love that I can wash ALL of the sheets in the house in one load. It is awesome. Oh and the quick wash cycle is perfect for a super fast wash.

I don't like the sensor for drying because its never correct. I just do it manually. I'm glad that they changed the filter because the one I have which is a little older the lent trap snags your clothes because the corner would snatch it.

I have thay washer probably a year old than yours. But I would leave the washer door open so it doesn’t have that old water smell or create mildew. It gets caught in the rubber thing where it closes.

nice review, i don't understand how hard water doesn't deposit in the dryer when using tap water. i figured reverse osmosis water would do the trick, but i'll have to read the manual about it.

Great review however I have questions does your washer vibrates a lot during last 5-8min cycle? Ours is upstairs and my floor vibrates a lot? Even two technician validate balance. One said bcz of my upstairs floor is not strong? I hate this as I can't return it. Don't know what to do at this point.

This is exactly the one I'm considering. I've read about issues with the lint trap protruding too much and grabbing clothes. There is a fix it kit I hear. I've also heard about problems with the electronics (motherboard). How has yours been so far?

Therefore too add an extra protection for your investment invest in a good quality set of surge protectors. " HAPPY WASHING " 😊

How much does the space from the back wall to the door frame measures? I see that manufacturers put the dimensions on their website, by I have currently a rather small washer that measures 27' in depth, from back wall to door frame I have exactly 35". The area where I can stand is exactly the with of the door plus 2 or three inches.

Hi, do you still have this set? How long have you had it? Have you had any issues so far? Are you able to successfully wash large loads, and king size bedding? We are considering this set because we have a Maytag set that has been giving us problems since day one

We have this set and it is a huge improvement over the old set. My only complaint, and maybe this is user error, is that if I try to use diluted bleach in the bleach dispenser in a load that is not all white it leaves bleach spots. I tried to bleach a load of white towels. A couple of the towels are my kitchen towels with blue stripes. Even though I diluted the bleach with water it spotted the blue stripes. I use bleach in light colored clothes sometime. However it does not seem possible with this washer. My only complaint though. Otherwise I love the set. They are both very quiet and efficient.

Did LG fix the problem with the dryer tearing clothes when getting caught on the filter by the door?

How far out from the wall do you have the washer placed? They say to allow for 6", but it's already such a deep washer (you say 32", they say 33.7"). I'm afraid it'll sit out so far from the wall that it'll be hard to open the door.

I got a top load washer extra big (to wash king size comforters , etc). Hugh mistake! Why? I’m 5’2” and to get out the clothes for the dryer I have to put half my body into the machine to get to the bottom! Beware petite people. Hit hard by the hurricane, I have to replace it now. Can both, the washer and dryer doors be moved to the other side. My laundry room is set up weird. The dryer is on the left and the washer on the right. I need the washer to open towards the right and the dryer door to open to the left.

Hey great video review Alvarados 4 Life...just doing some market research here but wondering if anyone has had the same problem as me where you put in the dirty laundry to wash but forget to move to the dryer bc you're busy or distracted and then the clothes get stinky or you have to wash it again wasting water, electricity and detergent??? LOL....just trying to come up with solutions for something like an "instant laundry" - pop it in and then like an hour later it's done washed and dried.
