I have this kit currently installed on my 2021 x590 and it has worked flawlessly. Not a single complaint from me. This upgrade has saved me so much time and back aches. I cant wait to move more material with it. Brad
I ordered the upgraded kit last week for my 2015 X580 and am anxiously awaiting it to show up! What ballasting weight/configuration have you used on your X590? I just have 4x42 lb. suitcase weights currently for snow blowing but I'm expecting I may need to add wheel weights and maybe get the rear tires filled with RV antifreeze? I'm a 200 lb dude, so I'll contribute a fair amount of ballast too.
@@StratOvation I build a custom “ROPS”/ lightbar/weight mount bar for my machine. It has 4 suitcase weights installed on it. I do not have weight in my tires. I do have wheel spacers though to help stability.
@@BOTTLEDZ28 Thanks for the reply Brad, I'd guess a ROPS would add 150+ lbs? Did you add the spacers due to instability you were experiencing with the LGM? or as a preventative measure to avoid instability? I have some gradual slopes on my property, but i typically avoid lateral travel along a slope and move mostly vertically on a slope. I'll check into wheel spacers. Mike
@@StratOvation I put the spacers on for the wider stance. I just think it looks better. It’s a win win now that I have the loader as it does add a little more stability. I had the weight of the rope bar written down somewhere but can’t find it. I’d say somewhere in the 140-155lb range. I’ll have to make a video on my machine one of these days. I do have a bunch of pictures of it on one of the JD Facebook groups if you’re on FB I think it’s one of the x series groups.
Recently purchased this with the new joystick kit-- Installed on JD X584. First real project was to lay down 5 Cu yards of driveway stone. Dude for home use this is a must. This FEL rocks. ...
The joystick is wired to a control box mounted in the engine bay. The actuators are powered from that control box. We'll have more information posted on our website soon.
